Product is easy to use and training cartridges provided worked well for the aero model. It was not clear from the advertising that the pepper gel doesn't ship to California. But I do like having a non-lethal option for self protection in public as a CCW is not allowed in many areas of California now

You always wonder, now-a-days, whether or not there's a "real" person behind the answers to your questions - There are real people at HERO. I have reached out to them 3 times since I purchased the Aiiro and they responded and resolved my issue or question!

Not a proper fit as promised, cover manufactured over seas,therefore quality suffered, I reported error and no one ever followed up

The cartridges aren't loaded per my request and the holster is right handed, not the left I requested.

I feel comfortable knowing that I have this at all times.

I own the HERO 2020 and just purchased the AIIRO this week. It is on its way to me now. These are incredibly great non-lethal devices which are easily concealable and very user friendly to operate.

As someone who lawfully carries a concealed firearm, I recognize the importance of having non-lethal resources readily available for self-defense. A firearm is not a universal solution for every self-defense incident. The amount of force you are able to use in self-defense must be proportional. It cannot be greater than the amount of force you are defending against.

According got the FBI and Department of Justice you are 5x more likely to be involved in a non-deadly force incident than a deadly force incident.

As a civilian with former law enforcement experience, I am passionate about the study of lawful self-defense and support the 2A as well as your overall right to protect you and your family against criminal predation regardless of whether it’s a deadly or non-deadly force threat. So much so, that I dedicated my Facebook page to lawful self-defense related topics to better educate others.

HERO self-defense products are a great way to “give the gift of safety” this Christmas season.

Thanks for replacing my daughter’s Hero 2020. As you know, her original one went off in her purse in her vehicle, and you sent a replacement. We used the prepaid UPS sticker to send the original one back to you. I hope you can figure out what the root cause of the discharge was.
I think that the nitrogen canister must have given out because the trigger wasn’t pulled.
