Super schönes e-bike

Bike arrived within a week of ordering and was well packaged and relatively easy to assemble. Looks great and is great fun although have only been on one short ride due to the weather.
All in all would recommend although my wife is having trouble with hers. She'll wait for a resolution before posting but this is the reason I've awarded 4 and not 5 stars.

The bikes arrived promptly and simple to assemble, there was a delay in getting the rack, but customer services responded to every email asking for an update. Love the bikes

My bike arrived a week after ordering (from Ireland) which was pretty good. Well packaged and undamaged. Quick to assemble. I had to bleed one brake and adjust the pads. I have done over 150 miles now. Range is about 30 miles at high power assistance level which is not bad as it has a small battery to keep it light. Very happy with it so much so I am waiting to order a step through for my wife when the colour comes back into stock. Like most bikes regularly checking for loose bolts and other maintenance will help keep it going. Excellent value for the price.

Das Fahrrad kam schnell und der Zusammenbau war mit der Anleitung sehr einfach und ging schnell. Der Gepäckträger fehlte zuerst. Nachdem ich das dem Support mitgeteilt hatte dauerte es noch eine Weile bis das Teil kam. Desweiteren hatte ich angemerkt, dass die Schutzbleche Kratzer aufwiesen. War nicht weiter schlimm und mir auch nicht so wichtig, da Preis Leistung stimmte. Zu meiner Überraschung wu de diese aber auch noch einmal neu zugeschickt. Alles in allem eine sehr gute Erfahrung wenn man Qualität und Preis anschaut.

Received bike very quickly and am very impressed with it so far. The bike looks good and is lightweight. There was a problem with the headlight but that issue has been resolved very quickly and efficiently

CAUTION Absolutely dubious.
No contact person in Germany.
Heybike denies basic consumer rights such as rectification, withdrawal etc.
The same demands are constantly made in endless email correspondence, e.g. "documentation of missing parts" via Video⁉️🤦
There is no subsequent delivery, no return, only excuses.
A domestic company is pretended, but ultimately only China with correspondingly poor support.

Very efficient in replacing my defective LCD. Quick and professional.

Gutes preiswertes E-Bike, lediglich die Schutzbleche sind leider leicht klapprig. Ich habe diese durch andere ersetzt. Gepäckträger und das Rad sind in Ordnung. Alles in allem ein zu empfehlendes E-Bike.

Bike is OK, but the custom Service is terible. My on/off Button broke after a few days. After a long story I habe a new on.

Ich fahre mit meinem Heybike zur Arbeit 6,2 km, den Motor muss ich nur berghoch zu schalten, ansonsten kann ich ohne Motor ganz normal Fahrrad fahren, sogar im hohen Gang. War jetzt 10 Tage im Urlaub mit dem Rad durch Deutschland unterwegs. Auch mit Gepäcktasche vorne und hinten konnte ich weite Strecken ohne Motor bewältigen und so nach wie vor ein normales Radfahrfeeling genießen. Im Schnitt sind wir 50 bis 60 km am Tag gefahren, insgesamt 530 km. Die Unterstützung des Motors bei starkem Gegenwind, bei den Steigungen und wenn es einfach mal schneller gehen soll war eine absolute Erleichterung und hat die Tour zu einem erfolgreichen Trip gemacht. Am letzten Tag mussten wir wegen einer Umleitung eine extreme Steigung überwinden (8% auf 3,9 km), hier ist der Akku im letzten Drittel der Strecke ausgestiegen und ich musste ein Stück schieben. Die Steigung war aber auch echt heftig. Ansonsten reicht die Unterstützung des Motors vollkommen aus.
Die Reaktion vom Support bei Anfragen/Reklamationen ist unverzüglich und unkompliziert, schnelle Antwort und direkte Hilfe bekommen.

I bought an EC bike in March and it was delivered on time. I assembled it well. Until I realised that the seat post did not fit into the frame. This was the start of the disappointing communication with customer service. As Heybike only offers one size of seatpost, I suggested to Heybike that I should buy a seatpost myself. Heybike wanted to refund me the money for it. So far nothing has happened. I'm still waiting for it. Then in May, after a few rides, the LED on/off button broke. Another report to customer service Fortunately, you can start the bike via the app. But unfortunately not the light, so I could only use the bike during the day. I waited 2 months for the replacement part. The display arrived completely scratched. As a thank you, I'm allowed to pay the customs costs for it, as the spare part came from China. It's a cheek. The bike is actually quite good. It's fun to ride. But the absolutely miserable customer service makes it bad.

I ordered a blue Heybike EC1-ST ladies bike and they had the bike in stock,I paid them in full after waiting for over eight days for delivery I contacted them to be told that they did not have any EC1-STs and offered me a EC1 Gents bike instead i declined their offer. and asked them for a full refund they refused and are now insisting that i cancelled the order, i did not, now they are saying i could possibly have a refund less 8% of the total cost to pay for the online platform they use ? Their customer service is terrible e-mails every morning for the last eight days asking the same questions again and again with no answers or solutions. I wish that i had never heard of Heybike.uk . my advice is to (Never Go Near Them ) and to use a reputable company ,now its in the hands of the credit card company hopefully they will recover the money for me. By the way the star rating should be - 0 and not the lowest of one star.

I had bought the HeyBike EC1 ST and I have been getting compliments all the time on the style and how it looks. I am a very happy customer, I had to wait a month for my specific bike to be delivered (they did mention beforehand). 6 Months later I have no problems with my bike, no maintenance problems and it is fast. I would totally recommend it, great price too. Here in Amsterdam E-bikes of this caliber will cost you double the price.

I absolutely cannot recommend Heybike. Customer service is essentially unreachable or responds weeks later. I waited a long time for the bike, even though I urgently needed it. I sent multiple emails and tried to reach customer service by phone, but unfortunately, both attempts were unsuccessful. Eventually, I canceled my order. Seven days after canceling, I received a shipping confirmation. However, there has been no response to emails regarding returns, cancellations, etc., up to this day. The bike may look beautiful, and the offer sounds tempting, but we deeply regret the purchase. I hope my review prevents other buyers from falling into the same trap.

The bikes were well packaged and suffered no damage during transport.
Both bikes I bought were easy to put together with the use of the you tube video I saw scanned from the QR code.
The both bikes worked straight away having blown up the tyres and fitted the handle bars, front wheel, Pedals, Seat and front mudguard.
No adjustments required to the brakes or gears.
Very please with both bikes.

I expected it to be a cheap, fragile e-bike for the money the bike is offered for. I have been pleasantly surprised. The bike may not be as lout proof as some other brands (live in a big busy city), but it is anything but fragile. The bike is solidly built. Brakes and gears work well and the latter is also customizable. I am quite tall, so I lean a bit far forward and heavy on the handlebars, but I did not find this annoying.
I haven't had to contact customer service yet, so I can't say anything about that. But I like the bike and I haven't seen another bike for that price that could appeal to me more. It is solid, cycles well and is pleasantly fast.

The ad for this bike came across in Facebook. Since the price appealed to me, and the various reviews on the net were positive, I purchased it.
The bike was delivered well packaged and a few parts, such as handlebars, front wheel and pedals, still needed to be assembled. This assembly is a job that takes some time, but is not very difficult. Furthermore, I put some locks on it myself.
Although for the price you expect a budget bike, the finish is considerably higher than expected. Everything fits well and is nicely finished. Even the welds are very nicely finished. The bike looks and feels solid.
The bike also rides well. The app allows you to adjust some settings for the support to what you like best. The display is clear and uncluttered and the brakes work well. The bike can go a bit faster than the 25 km/h allowed in the Netherlands, but I don't find that a problem.
Unfortunately, the on/off button broke quickly. I suspect something went wrong here during transport. I was then only able to turn the bike on via the app. I contacted customer service about this and got a quick response. After exchanging some information, a new display connecting the on/off button was sent to me (thank you Fawn). Received and mounted within a couple of days and since then have had several hundred kilometers of trouble-free cycling.
A bike which is very competitive in price with other e-bikes but certainly not inferior in quality and cycling pleasure. I am very happy with it.

Bought two EC bikes in April which were delivered in a timely manner. Put them together fine.

Noticed on both bikes the on/off button on the battery has no purpose. Missing rear rack for the one bike which took 4 months to arrive. Spare batteries took nearly 3 months to arrive.
Customer service response “wait longer” and “be patient”. It’s illegal to not fulfill an order within 30 days according to the consumer rights act.

Finally with all purchases received. The one bike has lost it’s on/off functionality - according to customer service it needs a new LCD, however, no stock so back to the “wait longer” and “be patient” responses.

I’ve requested a full refund which has been denied despite it being well within the consumer rights. I’ve been offered money, helmets, phone holders and now a brand new bike which I don’t want as I do not want a Heybike. They’re a safety concern and I don’t feel safe on it. I’ve sent 20 emails regarding and just get the same generic response “sorry for the bad shopping experience but you must wait more”.

Despite being Heybike UK. It is just a registered address. The bike is Chinese, the customer service is Chinese and the service is very very poor.

My advice to anyone is to buy a bike from an actual shop that you can take it to if it goes wrong.
