I made a random phone call from 200 miles away at 4pm on Saturday in the hope that a bracelet I had seen in the shop window while on holiday might still be there, it was. It arrived by Special Delivery on Tuesday morning with a lovely hand written note explaining how the clasp worked and hoping I enjoy the bracelet. Customer service at it's very best and a personal touch.

Laura and her team were just incredible, I had sent a necklace I’d bought there to be extended. My necklace got lost in the post to them. I was devastated as it was a gift but the amazing team tracked it down and recovered it and kept in touch to tell me they’d found it! Amazing customer service, a really personal touch and nothing was too much trouble. They are my number one favourite jewellers, due to their care and quality of items. A beautiful bespoke jewellers who take pride in customer service. You’re all amazing! I wish I could give you more than 5 stars!

Wanted some thing nice for my grand daughter's birthday. Useless grandad received all the help I needed from the assistant & she was right, my grand daughter loved her 'bumble bee' earrings & necklace.

My partner and I had the most fantastic experience picking out our engagement ring. The lady who served us was very knowledgeable, friendly and patient. The experience was made all that more special, as we could try on rings in the comfort of the very private ring lounge. I did not feel rushed or pressured, and we came away with the most perfect ring.

Very helpful and a brilliant range of jewellery!

My daughter (8) had her ears pierced this morning. Kerry was so kind, she explained the process and put my daughter at ease. The cost was really reasonable and aftercare was explained carefully so I feel confident about looking after them while they heal. 100% recommend.

The quality of there jewellery is amazing and there so helpful, from gifts for other people, special treats for myself right through to the big things like engagement rings and wedding bands.

I was recently lucky enough to be able to design an engagement ring with one of the members of staff here. She was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and polite. It made the whole experience very enjoyable and I would highly recommend it to anyone. I believe they’ve been on the High Street for a number of generations and you can definitely see why.

We sorted our wedding rings through Hogarth’s, and the service was outstanding. They kept us up to date throughout the process and they were exactly as we had wanted. We returned to Hogarth’s to get some jewellery for our wedding day, which will forever be special to us. Great service, friendly and knowledgeable

We were originally referred to Hogarth's jewellers by a close friend and have since returned to them on a number of occasions. My son got married in May and Graeme did a brilliant job of suppling both my son's and his wife's rings which they absolutely love. Their service is excellent, the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and we will keep going back!

We’ve shopped at H Hogarth’s for many years and will continue to do so. Their service is without equal, simply wonderful. Staff are extremely courteous, warm and friendly. Their knowledge and ability to understand customers needs is backed up by an extensive range that, in my experience, has always provided distinctive choices that wouldn’t normally be available in other than high end city centre establishments.

This jewellers is just incredible, Helen, Laura & Graeme are absolutely brilliant at their job! I have purchased many items over the years but most recently was all our wedding rings. From the engagement to the wedding, their service is just fantastic. I wouldn’t choose anywhere else other than here :) x

I was disappointed with the service. Took my wedding ring to be resized. I was not offered a receipt for it and was told 'we have been here 100 years and we don't give receipts'. I left the ring but next day went back as I wasn't happy about that. The same member of staff again said about the 100 years. So I said I was anxious leaving it with no receipt and decided to take the ring back. A different member of staff said she could give me a repair receipt, which I accepted. Even if a firm has been open 100 years there is always room for human error. Things can get lost or stolen , as I well know.. This ring had been my husband's grandmothers and was itself over 100 years old. Also a couple of years ago we were burgled and I lost all of my jewellery apart from the wedding ring. When I collected the ring I asked whether they could tell from the hallmarks how old it was. Everyone seemed busy and not very helpful, I was told the guide book was upstairs so I would have to leave it, which I didnt want to do. To have been very good service, one of the three members of staff might have gone upstairs to get the book and brought it down. It was early morning and no one else in the shop. Defintiely put me off going there for my new watch. I went there in the first place as it is a local and well established firm. But not friendly and helpful enough, felt rather 'snobby and judgemental' to be honest, disappointing.

We travelled from Liverpool to the Lakes in search of the perfect wedding rings and we couldn’t have asked for a better place to find them than H. Hogarth.
We called in advance to ask what was in stock and as soon as we arrived, the staff knew exactly who we were and why we were there.
We were lucky enough to discuss our rings with the wonderful Graham, who provided the most phenomenal experience from start to finish.
