HighDrive by Height for Hire provides a local Click and Pick Up service for 20m truck-mounted cherrypickers so anyone, anywhere can work smarter and safer at height.
With a 20m HighDrive you have more control over your working day and can save on transport costs and labour. You can get more jobs done on the one hire and travel easily between different locations. This allows you to cover a larger geographical area and grow your business.
Our vehicles are used across many sectors, including Pest Control, and often used on jobs such as pigeon spiking, gull nursery clearance, installing netting, and other pest problems that occur at height.
We offer the following services:
• Safe working at height truck-mounted cherrypickers from 20m to 90m across all of the UK
• A click and pick up service for 20m HighDrives. These truck-mounted cherrypickers can be driven on a standard car licence and picked up from more than 300 locations across the UK.
• More locations across the UK coming on stream in the next few months
• For more extreme heights, we have Truck-mounted cherry pickers up to 90m which come as an operated service. Available all across the UK

Mewp broke down on the day of hire
Mewp broke down on the day of hire. When the repair guy came out that night, his words were “i recovered this one last week and told them it wasnt safe for use”

I wasnt offered an alternative mewp to have use of, straight away. I would have had to wait 3 days to have a replacement. We have a road closure booked out 16 weeks in advance, so having to wait 3 days for a replacement wouldnt have suited us. Luckily, we had another height for hire mewp on another site and had to postpone the other works to facilitate the traffic management (road closure)

Outstanding Service
Our first contact for Height for Hire was Emma G. We were first- time hirers, and Emma was so patient and helpful with our many questions. She organised the hire, and during the week-long hire she took several calls from us to deal with our queries. We were always made to feel like special customers. Also on the team was Craig, who did the handover. He was equally patient and helpful. A lovely person to deal with us, who had not operate a cherry picker before. Communication between Emma G, Craig and Ian, Hire Controller, was excellent. The quality of the service and cherry picker were outstanding.

Very disappointed with this company. Taking down UK flags to appease the corrupt Tower Hamlets council is disgraceful and unpatriotic. A business should stand by its customers and country, not bow down to political pressure.

Works Above a Fragile Roof
If you are looking to conduct works at height in one or several locations, the safe, easy to use, and cheap method is Height For Hires HighDrive scheme ! I used it for a number of jobs that needed doing in a place above a fragile roof (approx 6M in from edge) and the machine was perfect to get people to the location !
