This was an absolutely horrible experience from start to finish.

What was supposed to be a straightforward flat-rate move turned into a stressful and expensive situation filled with unexpected charges and pressure tactics. On delivery day, they reinterpreted basic terms like “main floor delivery” to justify adding extra fees that were never clearly explained upfront. Then came additional charges for stairs — again, not properly disclosed at the time of booking.

When I questioned these charges, they refused to accept credit cards, which is extremely concerning and removes any level of consumer protection. I was forced to proceed with a wire transfer just to move forward.

Despite paying around $5,000, my belongings were delayed and placed into a storage facility far from my home, creating even more inconvenience and stress. I then had to pay approximately another $600 just to retrieve my own items.

Communication was poor throughout. Calls went unanswered, updates were unclear, and I was left chasing them for basic information while trying to manage an already stressful move.

This experience showed a complete lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism. I would not use this company again under any circumstances.

They helped me move a piano out of my late Grandma's house on short notice and they did an excellent job.

I chose High Stream to move a piano firstly for their competitive pricing. I was happy to work with them as we had to reschedule the moving time a couple of times due to snow days.

Horrible customer service. Change price rates after agreement made. Over-charge and gauge the customer. If you ask to speak with the manager, he will hang up on you.

My load was delivered in 1 day and the driver was a nice guy. I would certainly use them again. My experience was 100% with the company. They have the best prices and their customer service is awesome!!

Too much horrible company they not pay me money for the work, what I done for them also they hired me in illegal way without contract or job offer, so they already did 2 illegal things be careful with them

They put an ad out to unload our belongings and the guy never showed up. My hubby and myself had to unload the trailer. Totally unprofessional considering they say no subcontractors
