I had an amazing experience in resolving a problem I was having with electronic collar which operates my Power Pet door. The High Tech Pet representative, Layla, responded to a comment I made and she went out of her way to provide help which resolved the issue. I truly appreciate the attention to detail and professionalism , and I will definitely continue to highly recommend this company. We have been using our HTP Power Pet door for years, and it certainly makes our life easier.

I’ve owned the automatic pet door for 5 years. I calculate that the door has been used by my dog more than 10,000 times. The door has always worked perfectly. I actually didn’t expect such a long life so I’m extremely impressed with the quality of this product. I highly recommend it.

Complete disappointment with no solution and extremely expensive. First, it's not possible to set the door to open and remain open; I have to do that with the app. So, I started using the collars but the door only lets my dogs out and not back in! Next, the door no longer connects to my wifi - after working ok for about 3 months. Customer service is slow and not responsive. I recommend avoiding this company. Expensive and low quality product.

They sell products that don't work then they refuse to refund or exchange product that's fraud and theft by deceit

I could not live without the Power Pet Door! It opens automatically by a signal from my cat's collar (the MS-5). She uses it to go in a litter box in a little "house" my husband built adjacent to the Power Pet Door. No more stinky litter box!!!

I bought the Power Pet door and accessories. Very pleased with the products and very helpful tech support when I need it.

Auch der deutsche Importeur Animal Tec ist keine Hilfe, da auch dort ähnliche Service-Probleme bestehen und das Produkt neu im Sortiment ist.

Fazit:
Am besten billig bei ebay direkt aus USA für ca. 350 Euro (inkl. Einfuhrgebühr) kaufen. Die dortigen Anbieter reagieren wenigstens zeitnah auf Anfragen.

Mangelhafte Funktion bei:
1.
Die Änderung der manuellen Öffungszeit (2, 4 oder 6 Sekunden) lässt sich nicht ändern! Die auf Seite 13 angegebene Einstellmöglichkeit funktioniert nicht.
2.
Die Türe schließt manchmal teilweise oder auch ganz, obwohl sie mittels ON&OPEN dauerhaft geöffnet bleiben sollte.
3.
DIe Verarbeitung/Positionierung der Inside-/Ouside-Einstellknöpfe ist mangelhaft.
4.
Der Halsbandsensor reagiert auch nicht immer bei Annäherung an die Türe.

Zusammenfassung:
Serviceverhalten absolut inakzeptabel!
Trotzdem für den möglichst günstigsten Preis kaufen, da es leider kein vergleichbares Produkt zu einem ähnlichen Preis in Deutschland gibt.

The Power Pet door is the best pet invention since bones! We installed the product last year and since then we have been free of doggie doorman duty. Our dog seems to love it just as much as we do. He can come and go without having to bug us day and night. We have had no problems and the company is just great. We had questions before the sale and a few installation questions after we received the item. They were easy to contact and extremely friendly and helpful. They get our most enthusiastic endorsement. We will happily purchase from High Tech Pet in the future.
