Be prepared to fight for your refund
Inefficient and appalling customer service. Phone number does not work. I would not buy from this company again due to my bad experience.
On the plus side , I finally received the refund due to me, and promised via email at least a couple of times since last December 2025, 3 months ago , but only after.sending around 18 emails over a period of about 15 weeks, involving my bank to initiate a charge back and threatening legal action .
Worst customer service ever despite the polite AI type replies, which are all style and no substance as no action was taken.
So two stars as I was refunded ....eventually ....

Poor sizing Poor quality Non existent returns…
I ordered a heated top and the sizing was completely off — nothing like the measurements advertised. The quality felt cheap, and when I tried to return it, I discovered it’s basically impossible. They refuse to process a refund and will only offer a different size if you leave them a positive Trustpilot review first. Completely unacceptable. This feels like one of those low‑quality imports where customer service disappears the moment they have your money. Save yourself the hassle and avoid this company. Don’t waste your money

DO NOT USE
Items are not sized as per their website sizing charts (all come up small)
There is a series of items that are being miss-sold indicating that heating packs are including and they do not arrive with the equipment.
They will try every trick in the book not to offer a refund (for example I bought a set and as one of the dimensions was correct (all the others were not) they deemed only a 50% refund would be due. I am still having issues sorting the refund and have had to elevate this to an ‘Section 75’ claim with my credit card provider.
They also ask any returns to be sent to China at the buyers cost - which is not mentioned within the returns or refund policies which is a clear and blatant breach of UK consumer laws.
Delivery is also stated as 5-10 days but for us it took over 3 weeks, and I had to chase repeatedly for updates.

I ordered a heated gilet in November ,didnt arrive till 31st December.However it was too small for my husband,who normally wears large but this wax xmaller than his other gilets.Attempted toreturn it a d ask for the next size up.They told me I would have to pay 10euros for postage and not to send back the original gilet.They would send me an invoice to pay the postage after I had given a reveiw on trust pilot about customer service,which I duly did.I then kept waiting for said invoice and sent a few e-mails requesting the payment invoice ,which eventually came on the 4th of February.I paid it strait away and got an e -mail on 7th Feb to say it was on its way.Update on the 7th Feb the order was in transit,another one on the14th will be delivered soon.No sign of it today 5th March,and no updates.Would never use this company again.

Avoid!!! The website looks legit and it will make you think that the company is based in Netherlands , it’s in fact misleading. Items are being shipped from China. I have ordered trekking suit for 50£. What I have received is flimsy, child size set, definitely not what is advertised on the website. I have requested return immediately but haven’t had any decent response from them till now (only emails like „we are looking into this” ) and it’s a week 3 since I asked for return label. Returns/ refunds are virtually non existent. This company is scam ! Avoid !

AVOID!!! Same situation for me as other recent reviews I'm now reading. Ordered 2 heated gilets (one of which was a gift for a relative). It took 3 weeks for delivery (penny dropped then that the products have been shipped from the far east). The quality of the products is substandard (and not the same as advertised on the website). The gilets DO NOT come with battery packs (I'm sure this only appeared on the website after I ordered, as it wasn't stated in the product spec or FAQs). I'm now going through the frustrating returns process. I wish I'd seen these reviews before doing business with this company.

Straight from china
Ítem was never a uk large.came with out the power supply to supply the heat. I thought I was ordering from the site address in the Netherlands when In fact the product came straight from china. Was very disappointed especially with the cost. Could have got a cheaper one on temu

Excellent shopping experience
We were very happy with the item we received, it was great quality. It was a Christmas gift and was slightly small and this company did an exchange without any hassle even though it had been purchased some time before Christmas. Excellent customer service and quality products.

Don’t bother with this company their products arrive looking like they are second hand and with labels removed. They will not be anywhere near the size requested and may possibly fit a small child.
Then they ask you for feedback before they give you a return address also request €10 at that time. You cannot get a refund all they do is offer discounts on more items. AVOID

Absolutely ABYSMAL company. I ordered a 3XL set, which the website assures me fit a UK size 22. It took six weeks to arrive, so missed Christmas completely, but in fairness, we misread the small print on the working days delivery scale.
When the order FINALLY arrived, while the product is good quality, the sizing was absolutely shocking - only just fitting me, a size 14, not a size 22! I emailed asking to return it for a full refund, only to be told that I had to send it to China at full cost to myself and there was no guarantee of a refund. I’ve done that before - they don’t pay customs at the other end and it eventually turns up back at my door months later!
Nowhere on their website does it make any mention of sending items to China - everything points to the Netherlands. When I emailed them back, they offered me a 15% refund and to keep the item. I’m STILL WAITING for the refund 2 months later!!!!
Absolutely horrendous company - not clear and honest, terrible customer service that does not follow through on their promises, absolutely shocking. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

Cheap Chinese imports and struggling to get money back
I ordered a unisex medium heated jacket in Nov as gift for husband it arrived (from china) and would not fit a child!! After emailing and using the size chart provided i was recommended a 2 xl this eventually arrived (after Christmas had been and gone from china) and was barely any bigger!!! Long story short i received some of my money back but am still waiting for the rest!! Even asked to provide my bank details over 25 days ago so they could pay me direct but still no sign. I email every few days to be told its being chased up!!! Really rubbish chinese cheap products, avoid as getting money back is a nightmare!!!

Update on my previous review, I was due to received a 30% refund on the £50 that I spend, which means I should have received a £35 refund.
Today I only received a £15 refund and have received no email back when I queried this.
Absolutely shocking company.

Hike.Adventure is not Dutch but Chinese. Ordered a heated vest for £58 as a Xmas present. It arrived 3 weeks later. It was far smaller than advertised and without a battery pack which wasn’t made clear on the website. Returning items is out of the question as its address is in China and was going to cost £23.50. I accepted Jarlien’s offer of 25% refund 3 weeks ago but now all correspondence from them has stopped and as yet no refund given.

Poor Customer Support
After receiving my purchase of a waterproof jacket and trousers I brought my wife for Xmas unfortunately the size didn’t fit! I emailed Hike Adventure regarding an exchange. However I find the exchange process rather intimidating due to the fact I am required to pay a €10 exchange fee which although not a problem in itself I was advised that the only way to access financial details to pay the exchange fee was to write a review on Trust Pilot and mailshot it to them as proof! What a faff and somewhat dubious! I would not recommend this company and would buy from a reputable company that doesn’t hold you over a barrel!!

Do not, and I repeat, do not buy from this company. Their sizing is completely off, way smaller than what is advertised.
I had been promised a 30% refund over a month and a half ago, which I have still not received. I’ve been told they are speaking to their ‘finance department’ and still no further forward. This company steals from you.
Do not trust the positive reviews, they asked me to give them one and if I did, they would offer me a free size exchange on the jacket I purchased from them.
This company is a scam - do not buy from them.

I purchased heated clothing as Christmas presents for my elderly parents and the experience has been shocking from start to finish.
The quality is extremely poor — cheap, badly made garments that appear to be low-grade imports. The main heated body warmer sent was not the item ordered, and every single garment was significantly undersized, despite ordering appropriate sizes.
Customer service has been just as bad. Instead of resolving the issue, I was pressured to leave a positive review before they would even discuss returns. That alone says everything you need to know. As of now, there has been no resolution, and I am £158 out of pocket.
This company shows zero accountability, poor ethics, and no respect for customers. Do not waste your money.
