Knee pain solved!

I’ve been dealing with debilitating knee pain in the patellar region for years, and after working with PT after PT for over 3 years I wasn’t sure if I could ever run pain free again let alone attempt a thru-hike. I was able to do both in about 4 months working with Chase and Brandon on a custom interpretation of the Hike Flow Method, and now have no abnormal pains in my knee! They have figured how to translate basic (but incredibly important) movement patterns and strength training into a language that the lay person can understand and most importantly execute in a progressive fashion working from the feet up to hips and beyond in a flexible and adaptable program to fit your needs. If you have knee, foot, or hip issues or just want to build a resilient body for doing hard things then I’d recommend getting in touch with these guys!

It’s more than just strength training

It’s more than just strength training. Balancing, coordination, relaxation, breathing are all covered in this program. I feel much healthier by doing this hiking driven training.

My go to prehab/rehab

I've had really good experience with Chase. Helped me out with my stress fractures and some other foot/ankle problems that I had. Always answered questions and explained everything that needed to be explained. Easy to communicate with which is important. Honestly any type of injury or problem that I have or that (hopefully not) I'm going to have I will ask Chase for help before anyone else. He's truly a great resource for prehab/rehab stuff and to make you a better and more efficient mountain athlete.

It started in 2024, I decided to work on my downhill knee hiking pain and a wonky hip.
I was worried about the online platform as I am not great with self-paced learning. He’s created such an amazing program that I’ve been able to keep up and see amazing progress!
I probably could have stopped last year, but results have been so good I’ve started targeting some other areas I want to develop.
I was skeptical at first but soon came to realize the power in the micro-movements.
I can’t recommend this program enough! A must do for anyone wanting to stay active into the golden years

IFound SO much more!

I came to Hike Flow method after trying to find a high altitude multi-day training program. What I found was much deeper and more issue solving than a schedule for A trip. It is a hands down a way to rebuild and recreate a body that has played hard, and has gotten the bumps along the way. Im learning how to go the rest of my athletic life with proper usage and help solving my issues. Very prompt answering questions and dialing in on solutions for my body. Big plus is the breathing techniques I will apply to make my next high altitude hikes, more enjoyable...they do that as well. Full service. They also "practice what the preach", they are hikers and athletes.

HFM for recovering from chronic pain

I joined HFM to deal with chronic knee pain, and while I love hiking I was hesitant at first because I thought the program was more for younger people training to take on serious climbs. Boy was I wrong. The HFM is a complete strength and conditioning program that is tailored to your needs. Chase and the team provide excellent support, and are there to coach you through. There is also an inspiring community of people that you can connect with. The program is very holistic and it has made such a big difference in my life in terms of strength, body alignment, balance, breathing, meditation, and enjoying pain free movement in nature again.

Getting to the places I want to go

I came to Hike Flow Method to address a very specific issue of knee pain when backpacking in areas with steep steps. With Chase and company's help, I've fixed that problem and improved my hike speed by more than 10% as a bonus. I've learned better techniques for hiking longer, more efficiently and more comfortably. I think this program is especially good for people who love to hike/run but are having some physical issues that are getting in the way, whether it's painful parts or lack of endurance. I consider it PT on steroids. You get a ton of personal support, effective on-line feedback (they really know how to make this work!), and access to guided exercises that are clear and motivating. So much variety targeted to your specific needs. Plus, you don't need a gym. Every moment is targeted to being a better hiker/runner. There's no body image stuff. As an active middle aged woman who loves the outdoors, I don't need 6 pack abs, I just want to get up the next hill. The program isn't for everyone. You need to be willing to do the work. But, it pays off in more ways than you might expect. And, I find the variety and contact with real (and very sharp) coaches has kept me motivated. I see progress every week. That's inspiring.

I can't say enough about how much this…

I can't say enough about how much this helped me. My hiking was rebuilt from the ground up, properly. And I've added elements like breathing, strength, and resilience. I've used other services but none are as comprehensive or effective.
