Absolutely terrible
I would not trust them or their products

For over a month I have tried to contact them and they haven't responded

they are the only listed administrators for a facebook group and are absentee administrators. It is safe to say that the disregard they have for group members is systemic to everything they do

Have not received my order it’s been months I’d be careful with this one ! I’m giving them 2 more days to start refund if not I’ll take serious action I’m Mad!

2x hoodie ran very small and had to reorder a 3x!! 3x wasnt much better Terrible sizing, need to get better quality hoodies.

I liked everything I received except a shirt that was suppose to be teal but it was actually forest green . Good quality but I do plan to return it .
We will see how that goes .
I’ve received posters , oils, candles mandalas , all great quality of the 70’ items came in reasonable time . Oh I almost forgot super cool pocketbook excellent colors and quality .
Do not confused this company with another called hippie☮️sale which seems to have poor reviews but beautiful maybe fake pictures . I will try an item and keep you posted .

The sandles fell apart on day three, fortunately leather work is a hobby of mine so I used waxed thread to fix the one that broke, and went ahead and did the same thing for the other. They lasted about 8 more months or so before they completely fell apart again. At this point I should have just ordered the leather and made my own.

My box from Hippie Shop arrived today and what a pleasant surprise!!! Everything was top quality, carefully wrapped, and so much better than I expected!

I have ordered greater than a dozen items from Hippie Shop over the years and have been very pleased with the quality as well as customer service. I feel certain the negative reviews here are intended for a retailer with a similar name. I do hope this gets resolved, because Hippie Shop does offer quality items at reasonable prices with excellent support.

I ordered a set of Grateful Dead glasses and they arrived today early and were great quality. Would totally buy from this place again. Also, you are able to track your package step-by-step and they were very quick to respond when I told them I needed this for a birthday.

The item I bought, paid for & waited Forever to be delivered...was Nothing delivered like I ordered. Total scam!!

Just received an order of what looked like lovely shirts. Not as pictured. Fabric not as listed. Very poor quality. I am in the process of trying to return them, but so far, no response.

I ordered the hippie print t-shirt and it was absolutely not as pictured. The style on the collar was small and hemmed and the fabric is not a t-shirt cotton. It’s a knit of some kind. No label with that info you usually have on a garment and with washing instructions. It’s a knock off print of another designer.

I placed an order for a Tree of Life Peace Tshirt and a pair of matching Water Buffalo Sandals. The left Sandal was defective upon receipt. One of the thong strings had come loose and the stitching was frayed and unraveling. This signified poor quality control to me. I sent an email asking for a return shipping label and complete refund for my entire order. The items had been purchased as complementary to each other: the shoes arrived damaged, and I didn't want an exchange. The CSR gave a refund for the shoes only, no tax or shipping, and told me to keep them. What about the tshirt I no longer need? I sent a follow-up email asking these questions. This is the response I received:

Since we do not provide return labels unless you have received an incorrect item we issued you a full refund for the sandals. There was no mention of the T shirt in your original email. You were never charged any tax and shipping is non refundable.

You're welcome to send the T shirt back to us for a refund or exchange, but you would need to pay for the return shipping cost. Please let us know if you have any other questions. Thank you.

I must be spoiled by the exemplary customer service I receive from most companies I order from, because I have never been brushed off so nonchalantly. I'm thankful this mistake only cost me $30 because my original intent was to place a much larger order. My recommendation is, if great customer service is important to you, look for other companies from which to purchase.

Hippie shop Is generally pretty awesome. I’ve ordered from them multiple times, always fast shipping and I love my items 100% of the time. My only issues are small ones which are: Some things are a little overpriced in my opinion. I’ve seen some of the exact same items at other hippie-type stores and sites that sell them a little cheaper. There’s certain things I bought from a different store because it was cheaper than hippie shop for the exact same item. My other issue is the women’s clothing selection is not very extensive and oftentimes things, specifically the skirts, only come in odd sizes. I’m a very petite girl and it’s unfortunate that almost every single skirt only comes in medium/large or extra large/3xL. I would have definitely bought like all of them by now if they came in my size, but I’m generally smaller than a size small so there’s no way I could wear any of them, they’d be huge.
All in all though, hippie shop is super cool and I love all the Grateful Dead merch! It’s a good-vibe lil site with a lot of fun stuff!
