We booked a mixologist for an at home hen party (20 guests) and we had Lorna for the evening. She was lovely - arrived on time and so personable and chatty with everyone. She made 3 cocktails that catered to all tastes and our guests loved it.

I honestly could not recommend this company more, I will be hiring them again very soon! Sean arrived early, unbelievably professional, fantastic mixologist, made the event.

We hired a bartender for a birthday party at home. Everything was great! Michael was very professional, polite. He made delish cocktails! Arrived on time and had everything we needed. Would definitely recommend these guys .

From the very first point of contact, Dan was responsive and informative. Our barman arrived on time, worked hard throughout, and even helped clear food plates—something that wasn’t required but was very much appreciated. He was a fantastic addition to the event, allowing us to relax, chat, and fully enjoy ourselves. I would highly recommend this service and will definitely use it again.

Absolutely horrible company to deal with- DO NOT BOOK.

I first made contact with this company a few weeks ago to make an enquiry for a hen party booking. After getting a quote, I politely let the company know that we had received a cheaper quote from a different company and did not need any further assistance.

Unfortunately a few days before our hen party, our original booking (who friends had used before and were brilliant and so professional) had to cancel due to unforeseen personal reasons.
I then emailed Hire A Barman and asked if they had any last minute availability and if so, could they send me a quote. I received an email back replying “pay peanuts, get monkeys”. A member of this company then phoned me (he said he was the manager) and when I explained how I was unhappy with the rude reply I received, he in turn started to tell me how he could not understand how that reply was rude, I had “read it wrong”, I had clearly “frustrated his staff as they were left to clean up someone else’s mess” and that essentially it was my own fault for our last minute cancellation. He then continued to try and find out the name of the company we had originally booked with and stated “they probably made up they had a bereavement as you’d never question that”. When I declined to tell him the name of the other company as, again I explained it was a genuine cancellation and that they have previously been fantastic to deal with, he said “we are the biggest company in Ireland in this industry, if you tell me their name, I could talk to them and make sure they make more of an effort”. I simply stated that I did not want to continue the conversation, I was extremely unhappy with their customer service and would not be recommending them to anyone, he replied that I had upset his staff and he was “only trying to help me”.

Overall, I have never experienced worse customer service and would not trust this company at all!!

It was a wonderful addition to our birthday celebration and truly made the night extra special. Bartender Sean did a fantastic job - he was friendly, professional, and kept everyone entertained. The cocktails were absolutely amazing and beautifully presented. We booked them after seeing them at my friend’s birthday party, and they did not disappoint. Highly recommend for any special occasion!

Leanne our mixologist was absolutely brilliant from start to finish! She arrived on time, was chatty and lovely to everyone and well organised, extremely professional and knowledgeable. We made two cocktails each and everyone loved not only the cocktails themselves but. It was a great way to start the day and mix everyone up. Leanne cleaned up, packed up and was away with no fuss, highly recommend.

We had 2 waiters at our event in our home. They couldn’t have been more obliging and helpful before our guests arrived and were very attentive with our guests needs. Would recommend

Overall my experience was good, however on the night of the event the bartender we had booked turned up late and the contact number that was left for us never responded when I voiced my concerns about arrival time. This caused some stress on the night as the event was a surprise party and I had scheduled the bartender to arrive 30mins prior to the surprise to avoid this.
Despite this overall the bartender was friendly and hardworking.

Absolutely unacceptable service.
We booked a waitstaff member for an important event and received confirmation that someone had been secured. Based on that confirmation, we relied on them and stopped looking elsewhere. After confirming the booking, communication completely stopped. Messages went unanswered, calls were ignored, and as the event approached there was still no clarity.
On the day of the event, no one showed up.
No explanation. No warning. No accountability.
We were left scrambling at the last minute to find emergency cover — something that should never happen after a confirmed booking. Thankfully, another agency stepped in immediately, were professional and easy to deal with, and to add insult to injury, charged €50 less than what this company had quoted us.
After reading the other reviews here, it’s clear this is not an isolated incident. The pattern of behaviour speaks for itself.
Believe the reviews — they reflect exactly what we experienced. This level of blatant incompetence is staggering, and I would strongly urge anyone considering using this company to avoid them entirely.

EDIT: Editing my review here to clear up some of the lies in their response. They said they offered me staff and I never replied to their emails? I sent three follow up emails with zero reply from them. Once they saw my review i received this threatening email from them:

“You are such a disgusting person and an embarrassment to the industry. I will make sure to return “the favour” tenfold for your business.
No wonder your staff lets you down constantly yet you complain about us not showing up after you cancelled the booking? If this a bad joke, I’m not laughing. You have better day sad little person.”

Second Edit: replying to second response below as they seem to have deleted their original one. This was the specific Trustpilot link sent to me by you to leave a review for your services last time we used your company. You told us your competitors were leaving fake reviews to spook off clients and asked us to leave a good review, which I did.

3 unreplied to emails and repeatedly calling your number, we were forced to seek services elsewhere hours before the event when we got no email reply or phone reply even though you told us you had a staff member for us and I repeatedly asked would they be coming once I confirmed the hours we needed them and got nothing back whatsoever. You said to us in the past you can only keep a booking if we pay a deposit. We repeatedly emailed asking to proceed so we could secure staff. In your previous response you said you got no reply from me which is untrue, we left 3 emails looking for a response and never got one. Only when we left an honest review did we get an unpleasant and frankly threatening email back.

The two people we had at our party were amazing, Jose in particular was such good fun, interacted with the guests and so good at making the cocktails. Maria was a dote and so lovely too, she was so busy making sure everything went so smoothly and efficiently.

Our guests were all commenting on how great they were. My mum even said that she would have a party to just have them at it!

So a roaring success. Many thanks to Jose and Maria for making the party so great, we are very appreciative.

Hired a waiter and was very happy with the experience. It was only a few days before the event (buffet dinner) and they were responsive and able to find someone to help. Darragh came on time, was very courteous and flexible to help where needed - serve food, help get plates, pour some initial drinks. He made a real difference to our event. Would recommend.

I have used this company twice and both times have been amazed with the service. From start to finish it was seamless. The email replies were prompt and accommodating , even though I was last minute. As for the bartenders..they arrived when they said they would and couldn’t have been friendlier. They were so professional and worked their butts off in a very busy environment, always with a smile. They made the night run so much smoother and I’m delighted with the service.

We got a lot of comments from our guests about your two guys who attended on Friday 29th.
All comments were invariably positive. They thought your guys were “lovely, friendly, helpful, efficient and pleasant”
I agree. They did very well and helped the guests to have a great time and even get pissed. 😂

It was my first time hiring a barman and I will 100% be using this company again. The whole process was so smooth from initial contact with Dan to the punctual arrival of our barman on the morning. I booked the barman for my sisters hen party and it was the best start to the day! The cocktails were delicious but the service was exceptional. Our barman was very attentive and constantly refilling our drinks. It was such a brilliant experience and really kicked off the party. Everyone was talking about it and it was such a highlight of the day. Would 100% recommend and will use this service again myself.

Great night , I hosted a Mother’s Day event at home and we had Micheal as our cocktail maker he was brilliant and the cocktails were un real , will defo use again for other events 😀
