CSL’s charges are very unclear. I’ve tried contacting them multiple times but never got a proper reply.
On top of that, I still have 18 months left on my contract, yet they call me every single day to push sales, it’s extremely annoying.
Very poor service. Would not recommend.
I twice had to deal with 2 very unhelpful and unfriendly staff at CSL main Causeway Bay shop. When first time I reported a broken router and asked for a new one he tried to make me renew my contract early in return for a new router. When I wouldn’t he became unfriendly and said I would have to wait 2 weeks for a new router - a little bit trying to blackmail me into signing a new contract. I resolved the matter by seeing another staff next day and an emailed complaint.
Then a few months later after I ended my contract I was due a small refund. After 2 inquiries I still hadn’t received it so I visited the same Causeway Bay shop. The impolite staff member was clearly annoyed at my reason for going there, pointed to a phone and told me to call a number. I told him to do it for me which made him more annoyed. He dialled the number and walked off leaving me to wait several minutes for someone to answer. The matter was resolved after I made another complaint. But the behaviour of that staff member was unacceptably and I regret I did not get his name.
3 years earlier when I signed up with CSL at their Mongkok Branch I was a bit misled. I thought I was just buying a new router but found myself in a 3 year contract that I couldn’t get out of.
Always been with CSL when coming back to Hong Kong but this year it so bad, signal has gotten worse and watching video or loading images loses connection
Never sign up for any CSL “special deal”. We needed the “PaMa” senior discounted phone subscription. We were told in the store about a special offer. We fell for it. Turns out the price is the same as the normal charge. We also needed to renew our broadband service. The salesman talked us into a non-refundable NowTV subscription under the guise that it is free. Turns out this is not free.
Probably the worst service provider in HK. After being coaxed by the aggressive selling, I migrated my entire family's plan to CSL and I been regretting since. Firstly the coverage sucks, I usually cannot conduct even GSM calls at home and 5G is even worst, I am located in highly populated area in HK, not outlying islands. Then the customer service was the worst. They provided my children numbers that were recycled that were tied to information of strangers, I can't create their new profiles on the CSL app, cannot but data roaming when they travel, The CLUB kept sending super age-inappropriate annoying messages and I can't even disable that. The customer service even told me to login as the unknown previous owner of the numbers??!! I definitely moving back to my previous provider after the contract ended.
I waited for the customer services call answer and their agent is not solving with my connection issues. Do not use their services.
