We had a fantastic 15 day trip to Vietnam during the last week of February and first week of March. Erin, our advisor, organised a wonderful and memorable holiday—great flights, excellent hotels, brilliant guides and drivers, and really well chosen activities and tours.
Everything we saw, everywhere we went, and everything we experienced is something I would thoroughly recommend.

Even the outbreak of war in Iran—which meant we couldn’t travel home via Doha—didn’t spoil our holiday, because Erin quickly arranged alternative flights back to the UK. Thanks to her, we still arrived home safely on the same day.

Would we use Holiday Architects again? Definitely. Would we ask Erin to plan our next trip? Absolutely. Well done, Erin and HA!

Our bespoke holiday to Costa Rica was created by people who really know the country and we had a fabulous experience. Fantastic wildlife, beautiful country, charming people who are rightly proud of their country. Louise listened to what we were looking for in a holiday and delivered. Her customer service was exemplary. Most of the hotels were good, the eco resort fantastic.

Fenton, the gentleman who organised our trip to Japan was thorough in ascertaining what we wanted to do, where to and the type of accommodation we required. He organised our trips and provided us with a detailed itinerary, tickets for Metro, bullet train, flights and private guides for the two of us. We used Holiday Architects 2 years ago for the Dubai trip and were so pleased we used them for Japan. A company worth using again on our next foray.

Truly expert advice from the very start, based on in-depth, first hand and deep experience of Costa Rica. Friendly, unpressurised advice, a beautiful bespoke tour matched exactly to our wishes. Always on-hand before, during and after the holiday - superb service all round.

From 1st contact Catherine spent time refining our trip to SA into precisely what we wanted. We could not really fully appreciate that until we actually visited and found ourselves having the nigh perfect trip. It was just one wonder after the other.

We have recently returned from a wonderful holiday in Vietnam, which was planned with help from the team at Holiday Architects. All in all, it was a great trip, with lovely hotels everywhere, good guides and drivers and all the arrangements working seamlessly. This was our second holiday with Holiday Architects, and on the evidence of this trip, we'll be back - well done!

My husband and I have just come back from a trip to Vietnam which we loved. Fenton spent a considerable amount of time helping us settle the itinerary, sharing the benefit of his experience about whether something I'd read about would be worth the journey and/or whether it was the best time of year to visit. This avoided us going to places when they might not be at their best & which we can then visit on another trip. We also valued the opportunity to share feedback at the end of the holiday. There were a couple of issues with the information some of our guides shared with us but they were minor. Holiday overall was lovely and we value the input Fenton provided.

We’ve just returned from an incredible 2½-week trip to Kerala, India organised by Holiday Architects and it was absolutely fantastic.

After a good chat, Clare created a brilliant itinerary that was perfectly paced and tailored to us. The places we stayed were beautiful and full of character, and we loved how varied the trip was — from the national park, to the backwaters, to Kochi and the beaches.

Adi, who supports guests on the ground in Kerala, met us at the airport and in Kochi, he checked in with us over WhatsApp regularly and was always there if needed. Our private driver, Gills was amazing. Always on time, there when we needed him, respected our space.

We are so grateful for the support when the Middle East airspace closed while we were away. Clare quickly got in touch and arranged an alternative route home — it was hugely reassuring to have someone taking care of things when travel plans suddenly changed. Our focus was on loving this holiday rather than finding alternative flights home.

We received excellent communication from HA; and the care we received before, during and on our return has been the best experience from a travel agency ever, by far.

My husband and I have just spent a fascinating 2 weeks in Egypt. Catherine organised a trip that encompassed our requirements perfectly. It was wonderful to be met and looked after by the local agents. They couldn’t have been more helpful and efficient.
One thing that anyone visiting Egypt will have to accept is that many flights around the country are very early in the morning!
We loved being on the Nile on the
dahabyia. It was very peaceful.
We did find the tipping stressful, although Holiday Archictects did give advice.

Catherine and the team at Holiday Architects arranged our 23 day trip to South Africa, Cape Town and the Garden Route. The trip exceeded our expectations and in line with our wishes was packed with activities and suggestions. The suggested accommodation and the three-day safari were wonderful.

Unlike other companies HA were happy to plan us a long trip only taking in Cape Town and the Garden Route without flying internally to the battlefields or beyond enabling us to save those adventures for another trip.

There is plenty to do and fabulous beaches, scenery and walks while heading east from Cape Town after enjoying the wine region. We preferred Franschhoek, where we stayed, to Stellenbosch that we passed through when visiting the wine region, but Cape Constantia is certainly worth visiting too if you have time in Cape Town along with the stunning botanical gardens.

This was our fist trip with HA and enjoyed it so much we are already booked for our next trip with them, this time in Peru.

I booked through Fenton and he got our holiday in Cambodia spot on. Everything was excellent. Will definitely use again

We booked a holiday to Jordan with Catherine at HA, which was sadly aborted due to the outbreak of war with Iran. Throughout the booking process she was helpful, responsive and listened to our comments/preferences so it was truly a tailor-made itinerary. It would have been a fabulous trip I’m sure. Catherine was equally helpful at explaining our options and keeping us updated when the war started. We were very disappointed not to go on our trip but appreciated her help in navigating the cancellation process. We will definitely use HA in the future.

We had the most incredible trip with Holiday Architects to Oman a few years ago, truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience that our children still talk about. The itinerary was completely bespoke and perfectly tailored to our family.

Since then we’ve tried to travel with them again twice to Jordan, but unfortunately both trips have been disrupted by international events beyond anyone’s control. The first during the Israel/Iran tensions and now due to FCDO advice not to travel.

Throughout it all, Catherine has been absolutely fantastic. She has been clear, calm and incredibly helpful, always available with advice and support. In what could have been a stressful situation, she has been a dream to deal with.

Because of the experience we’ve had with Holiday Architects, I wouldn’t travel with anyone else as I know how amazing they are when the holiday works to plan and also how amazing they are when events escape us. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

My wife and I went to Costa Rica for 16 days in February. We chose Holiday Architects as our travel company and we are very glad we did. The holiday was arranged with Dawn whose enthusiasm was infectious. We wanted to see wildlife as opposed to a beach holiday and she picked out some great locations. We visited just three lodges. We started in the north with the rainforest, then to the cloudforest in the centre and finally the Osa Peninsular to the south. All accomodations were great. The travel arrangements all went smoothly and we were kept informed every step of the way. A great holiday with some great memories.

I have recently returned from South America after a bespoke holiday organised by Louise at Holiday Architects. I cannot praise her, and the firm, highly enough. She put together a holiday based on what I thought I wanted to do but including some ideas of what might also fit in well. I was travelling on my own and Louise was very sensitive to this in terms of making sure that my hotels were in parts of cities where she knew I would be safe. It is so important to be dealing with people who are so familiar with the destinations. Having planned this, Louise was a welcome presence in the run up to the holiday, when I had a wobble over the arrangements. She was always on the end of the phone to answer those little questions that come up. I can only say a huge thank you and I would not hesitate to recommend anyone to use the firm.

We recently have returned from Sri Lanka all organised by the very brilliant Rebecca Dodds.

All the arrangements were recently excellent. Our guide was charming, very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be around. The choice of small hotels that we stayed in was just what we wanted.

It was an unforgetable holiday and we would certailnly recommend Holiday Architects to anyone considering a similar adventure.

From the outset Kirsty ( who we dealt with most of the time ) was extremely helpful , knowledgeable and always ready to listen and make suggestions . This was our first trip to the Cape and she guided us through all the options for our 3 week trip even when i managed to get my dates wrong ! The small hotel/lodges were all lovely as were the staff and Kirsty's suggestions of trips , things to do and see, restaurants were a great help . The hire car was just the job for our long trip and directions/routes were spot on . Roads wonderful , scenery awesome and wine and food excellent .
This was our second trip with HA and couldn't fault the preparation that went into the itinerary . Hope there is another chance to use them again although fast running out of years now ! Huge thanks.

Lisa's expertise on Sri Lanka was key to helping me put together our itinerary for a 24 day trip around Sri Lanka. The entire holiday went without a hitch and we can't wait to go back to experience some more! I was apprehensive about being with a dedicated driver for this amount of time, but Murali's knowledge and consideration of what we wanted made it all 100% perfect. Thank you all!
