First time user of HolidayArchitects for a tailor made trip to Japan. My adviser ( Fenton ) was fantastic explaining all the option and came up with a tailor-made trip taking my wishes full into account.The whole organisation on the ground by their local agent, the organized trips, hotels etc etc. where simply 5-Star.
I am definitely using them again !!

All went well planning etc until deposit paid. Then no further communication. We even had to contact company to pay full amount ! Some of the length of journeys and planning was not as expected and service not to our usual expectations. E mails not picked up re help required. Not going to be more negative as not helpful. But definitely will not use Holiday Architects again.

We decided to use Holiday Architects following our first time use to South Africa last year which was very good hence we decided again explore reusing HA to visit Canada. This time we embarked on a fly/drive tour around the west of Canada and the holiday build was excellent. Our point of contact was a Paul Turner. We received an initial itinary based on Pauls local knowledge and experience and then over 3-4 phone friendly and helpful calls we honed it down in detail to our requirements and his recommendations. The actual holiday was excellent, everything went as planned with no hiccups. Canada is like the Lake District on steroids and will blow you away, the roads are great to drive on and very well signed. The people very friendly and accommodating.
From my experience Holiday Architects have got the right model, they take the stress and time out of a lot of the planning, have excellent customer care, great follow up and very flexible with a budget you set them. Try them and I think you will agree

Holiday Architects were excellent from start to finish. It was great to be able to discuss my requirements direct with a ‘knowledgeable human being’, (otherwise known as Catherine). I had very specific requirements as I wanted to see the effect of the Khareef (monsoon) on the Dhofar region of Oman. Holiday Architects organised everything and were extremely flexible and kept me informed of any changes immediately. The driver/guides they booked for me were very knowledgable and flexible as well. I will have no hesitation in recommending them to other travellers and using them again for future trips.

We have just returned from a fantastic 17 days in Namibia - all aspects of which were arranged by Kirsty. From the outset, the information including tips and advice provided was excellent - Kirsty's knowledge of the country meant our trip was tailored to suit our preferences including a 2 day trek and 2 nights sleeping out under the stars - a real highlight! Our many questions were always answered comprehensively, and the documentation, App and tips we received set us up perfectly to enjoy the trip. Would absolutely use Holiday Architects again and would highly recommend them.

Wow - what an incredible adventure in Peru! From the Amazon jungle to hiking into Machu Picchu and the stunning scenery of Palcoya rainbow mountains - this was a holiday of a lifetime. An exciting tailor made itinerary put together by Dawn with the local team and expert guides supporting us every step of the way. We were really looked after! The holiday went over and beyond our expectations.

This was the 2nd time I’ve used Holiday Architects - they are absolutely excellent. We have just returned from a perfect trip to Canada to travel and visit friends which Paul Turner brought together excellently.
Last year Fenton arranged for my daughter and I to visit Japan. His attention to detail and ability to suggest how the trip could be tailored to our particular interests was totally outstanding.
This is the only travel company I’ll use to arrange future trips.

We had a fabulous holiday in Peru organised by Louise. She really understood what we wanted, and provided great advice and help. Wonderful hotels, great communication, everything you could hope for. We would definitely use Holiday Architects again.

We had a brilliant trip to Jordan which Ian planned superbly. We told him what we would like to see and he fitted it and more into a well designed trip. Our driver was really wonderful and looked after us so well, and we had some really interesting conversations about life in Jordan . Everyone we came into contact with was welcoming, friendly and helpful. They are proud of their country and rightly so, and they want you to have an enjoyable time. We saw a great deal, learnt a lot and made some wonderful memories. The sites are exceptional and the museums first rate. Jordan had been on our wish list for more than 20 years and it exceeded our expectations

Our recent trip to Canada was an adventure of a lifetime and our experience was enhanced by the faultless planning by Paul Turner. His thorough organisation and assistance throughout made our time away so relaxed and enjoyable and we are truly grateful

This is a very belated review, but only because we’ve been wanting to do it justice. Life has been busy since we got back, but in the interest of leaving feedback in as timely a fashion as we now can, here it is for anyone considering a trip organised by Erin at Holiday Architects.

Simply put, our holiday to Borneo was incredible. The wildlife was next level, the boutique hotels and eco-tourism ethos were excellent, and the whole trip had that perfect mix of adventure, relaxation, and luxury. We did spend a lot — Borneo isn’t a cheap destination — but it was worth every penny, and it felt like we truly got what we paid for. From the jungle to the beaches, river tours, a night with the Iban tribe, and multiple centres linked by internal flights, we were able to experience so much more than if we’d just stayed in one place.

The guides we had were fantastic — Jennifer and Amir in particular, who accompanied us to the Iban tribe, made the whole experience feel like travelling with friends. Authentic, stress-free, and full of laughter.

What set this holiday apart, though, was Erin. Yes, Holiday Architects are a premium brand, and we did pay more than for other quotes, but Erin’s local knowledge and attention to detail more than justified the extra cost. Having been to Borneo herself, she knew the hotels, the best tours, and the hidden gems.

Most importantly, she genuinely cares. One evening we had a disappointing experience with a non-English-speaking guide, despite the tour being advertised otherwise. We emailed Erin late that night, not expecting much at such short notice. By morning, she had arranged a replacement guide who was excellent, turned the experience around completely, and even organised a full refund for the first tour — unprompted, out of principle. That level of professionalism and client care is rare, and it gave us complete peace of mind throughout.

We cannot recommend Erin or Holiday Architects highly enough. If you want a seamless, expertly curated, and unforgettable trip, you’ll be in safe hands.

Amazing holiday in Malaysia & Borneo - Erin was super helpful & helped us in choosing a once in a lifetime holiday - special memories in a beautiful country.
All accommodation was great, tour guides knowledgeable and helpful & transfers went really smoothly.

Thank you for the wonderful family trip to Vietnam that you organised for us this August. I had been a little apprehensive about travelling around with the kids but we all thoroughly enjoyed it. In particular, the local guides were excellent - they engaged with all of our group, helped us understand the lives of the local people a little better, and were excellent hosts. Accommodation/food/boat trips/cycle trips were fantastic. We particularly enjoyed the the quick cycle trip through the peaceful and pretty Mekong delta and would definitely recommend that.

We have just returned from 2 weeks in Costa Rica and what a fabulous holiday we had. Dawn got it spot on and we just had the holiday of our lives!! Highly recommended.

Thanks you once again Holiday Architects, for another amazingly organised holiday. This time we traveled to Vietnam, everything about the holiday was excellent, the accommodation, the transfers, the guides, the support from the local handling agents.
Lisa listened to where in Vietnam we wished to visit and planned the perfect itinerary within budget. I can’t recommend HA highly enough.

Using Holiday Architects for our trip to Costa Rica was definitely a good decision. Dawn offered great advice and options and the organisation / transfers on the trip itself were first class. An unforgettable holiday for the family!

We had a marvelous family holday in Kuala Lumpur and Borneo. Booking arrangements, organisation and support throughout from Ian Lowbridge at Holiday Architects was first class. Collection and delivery throughout our stay was highly efficient and timely and the guides in Kuala Lumpur and Kota Kinabalu were excellent, attentive and informative, though perhaps a tad less so in Sepilok. By and large accommodation was excellent

We have just had the most amazing 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. We initially looked at using another tour company however once I spoke to Dawn I felt like she knew the country so well and it felt we would get the detail in the planning of the trip. I really appreciated all the tips that came once we had booked, they were so useful. We would definitively recommend Dawn, Holiday Architects and their Sri Lankan counterparts Pan Lankan. It was so nice to have everything planned in advance and most things were pre paid so made it easy to turn up at the hotels/activities. Smooth sailing and I will definitely look to use Holiday Architects for our next special trip.

My family and I have enjoyed a fabulous trip to southern Japan - beautiful, fascinating and fun! This was our second visit with Holiday Architects and another brilliant job by Fenton who helped us plan a wonderful holiday. Thank you!
