This is a counter-review to the one I left before. I had a contrary opinion to the result of the fault-finding the first engineer who came to check my boiler out from Hollybrook.
However, Hollybrook management is fantastic. At no cost, they sent a second engineer, Michael, to fact-check the earlier assessment. His diagnosis was more nuanced than the previous engineer's. When he was checking the boiler, I spoke with Adrian, one of the managers, who was very helpful and polite.
Besides being professional and thorough, Hollybrook extended goodwill to us and offered us a full and free boiler service.

Post yet another disgustingly hot summer, and having been in our flat for 9 years with another few decades to come (hopefully) in stifling London, we decided to invest in air conditioning. We had three quotes and by far Grant was the most knowledgable and provided most confidence over the feasibility of getting a/c in this two-bed London flat (living room, two bedrooms). He explained the wiring options, and plumbing options, through the ceiling and the disruption that would be expected. We were able to plan around this, scheduling in decorators to repair the anticipated ceiling hatches.

Whilst we didn't commit immediately, Grant was the only person to follow up politely up to a couple of months after when we decided to go for it. A final visit from Grant to review feasibility and plan the work, including agreeing a price we were both comfortable with and we were away.

Grant's engineers, led by Danny were superbly professional, knowledgable and friendly. Every step of the way the provided confidence and explained what all the pipes were doing - which, for the reader's benefit are - each unit gets refrigerant in and out via a lagged pipe, electricity in from a new circuit, plugged into the main fuse board and finally, a condensation pipe out, which we also needed two of the units to have a pump fitted. These fit discreetly in a L bracket, which routes the pipes up into the ceiling and then out to the outside unit.

For three inside units - the engineers spent three days plumbing in the bits and wiring and attaching the units to the wall, and feeding the pipes outside. They heat sealed ('brazed') and then pressure tested before leaving everything to return when the outside unit was to arrive in the warehouse at a later date.

We were expecting the outside unit to be with us the following week, but there was a delay in shipping the unit. Grant negotiated with the supplier (Mitsubishi) and got other units on stock, made available to us and we were on for 23 December to get the installation finalised.

The day before xmas eve, Danny and colleague arrived and installed the outside unit, which came on huge vibration dampening feet. They connected to the pipes which were punched through to the outside on the previous visit and an electrician turned up to wire into the fuse box and connect to the outside isolator, which presents as a big red button, to cut thing off should that be required.

We then tested all the inside units, going up to max heat and then lowest temp on cooling. The engineer explained to me the operation and helped get it hooked up to Mitsubishi's Smart App.

The guys left and left us with our air conditioning and finally it was done.

The outside unit is quiet and the system performs very well - both in terms of a nice cool breeze in the bedroom in the evening as well as mega hot mode for drying clothes in the small bedroom (an unanticipated bonus feature is dehumidifier).

All in all, we are super happy with Danny, Grant and unnamed colleague :). Just go for it. Life's too short to roast alive in London.

Grant came round to complete the survey. We had the estimate sent the next day. Great price so we accepted. We had the fitting completed within 3 days. Danny & Jack were the fitters and they were brilliant. Came at 8.15 and worked through without a break until job was finished at around 5pm, which included removal of all packaging and hoovering up any mess and instruction on how to use. They were polite and professional as was Grant and I would recommend this Company to all. Cant speak highly enough about them. Very impressed.

We've recently had air conditioning installed for 5 rooms in our semi detached house.

The chaps from Hollybrook Group were exceptional. It's always a bit worrying having work done on the house and the guys did everything they could to put our minds at ease. They were mindful of our house and went out of their way to engage with our kids and dog.

From the survey and all through the install, it's clear they have fantastic product knowledge and confidence in what they are doing. I'd recommend them in a heartbeat.

Had air-conditioning installed in my house. They did an amazing job. Very efficient, good time keeping, worked really hard. We were so pleased with the service that even my mother-in-law had one installed two days later. Highly recommend Chris the installer. Very friendly and was clear when advising of all options. Had two AC fitted one in our bedroom and one in the living room and all I can say is wow wow wow. The two installers were fantastic talking us through the process as they fitted the AC. From the first meeting with the boss to the two lovely blokes who fitted top job. Strongly recommend this company.
