An honest review

An honest review: I ordered size L, but got the chinese size XL. This could give customers the idea they ordered the wrong size. The fitting is ok however, not aero, not loose.

The shipping is really fast. 1 day delivery to the Netherlands.

I ordered a team kit: overall the quality looks decent. The bib shorts has the same quality as aliexpress shorts. The colour of the shorts fades as it gets stretched. The cushion is just a sponge and seems the same as the coloured aliexpress ones, just without the colours.

The shirt is a better quality. The zipper does not look that strong, so i will have to find out how long that will hold. I dont know how it will breathe.

The socks are fine, just a bit hard to get on. The upper bit is not made of stretch material. I would not recommend to buy them if you have big feet because you will probably rip them apart.

If you are oke with less quality, then you could order this. But keep in mind that you can get the same quality on aliexpress for €40,00.

I stupidly ignored the advice of others but they are a complete nightmare. You will not get a response to any email you send (i have sent 8 emails). Total con artists.

One of the worst experience I have ever had

My last experience with this company was one of the worst I have ever had: I bought 4 items on the 10th of November, last year. I had to change 2 of them a few days later due to they are not able to keep their stock up-to-date.
I had to leave the country, so I asked a friend to send me the parcel aboard. When I received it, I noticed that they sent me a wrong parcel.
...
In the end, after tens of emails, they sent me my money back ... AFTER 72 DAYS. And for international delivery, they reimbursed me only ... 25 RON. You must pay for dealing with this kind of company!!!

In conclusion, in case you have a problem with your parcel or their products, expect you to be treated with NO KIND OF RESPECT!!!

PS: One IMPORTANT detail: in Romania, ANPC (the Romanian Consumer Protection Authority) cannot intervene due to the company opened by them in that country offers JUST courier services!!! In conclusion, in case you are not from Slovakia, you have NO LEGAL PROTECTION!!! And I am sure, it is not a problem only in Romania. You have to send your complaint to the Slovak authorities. So ... good luck!

I left a poor review of Holokolo after my new shoes were not as i orderd, but i have removed it as they have now sorted the issue. All in all a fairly positive experience Thank you Holokolo

I was convinced Holokolo had to be fake

I came online to look at the company following my purchase as I was convinced the company must have been a bogus one. It's actually more worrying that it is a legimate one and I'll explain why.

I purchased a Castelli cycling jacket as a present for my brother in law for approximately £47 including postage. For this I received a piece of yellow material, fashioned into the shape of a jacket. Single stitched with household cotton, the cheapest zip you could imagine, a sticker with the Castelli logo on the chest, a cheap label inside saying Castelli and made in China, this was in a plastic bag, with Castelli on it. As soon as it was out of the bag I thought it was the most obviously fake goods I'd ever seen. At a guess I thought the whole product including packaging looked about £1 worth.

I have never seen anything like this in all my Internet shopping days and it is worrying. I appreciate that the price I paid was cheap for Castelli but this product appeared completely fake. I returned it, waiting for my refund although I won't get the inflated. postage back. I then bought a jacket for 2/3 of the price with 10 times better quality and engineering.

Extremely disappointed

I ordered a top as a christmas present, fairly ok delivery although over inflated postage charge, but the top was too small. I cannot get in touch with anybody, I've emailed 3 times and also tried calling and i cannot get any response. I'm now left with a very expensive top that cannot be worn. Very disappointed with the customer service, will never purchase from them again.

Very pleased with my purchases for cycling

I bought Lobster-type warm gloves for cycling in the Winter. They look to be well made and hopefully will keep my hands warm.
I also bought a special shirt for winter with the quality being excellent.
I will be buying more cycling clothes from Holokolo.
