Very poor delivery
Very poor delivery. The 2-3 day delivery did not happen and it was only after chasing and speaking to the store I was told they had delays with ordering. They did then address the issue as it was a gift needed for a specific date and the item arrived but it was three weeks. I feel I could have at least been notified of the delay or refunded the shipping costs.

Thank you for your message. I’ve looked into your order and am truly sorry that your experience didn’t meet expectations.
Since Brexit, Elephant Parade stock has been centralised in Europe, with weekly deliveries arriving in the UK. Because of this, we no longer quote specific delivery days but instead ask customers to let us know if an item is required by a particular date. Unfortunately, your order comments were left blank, so the team weren’t initially aware of any deadline. (We’re now reviewing how we can make that message clearer.)
That said, having confirmed a dispatch date of 10/10, we should absolutely have informed you of the further delay to 16/10. Although the team upgraded your delivery to a next-day service at our cost, we recognise that better communication was needed, and I make no excuse for that.
The team have been made aware, and I’ve arranged a refund of your delivery charge.

Second my sincerest apologies for the long delivery and our apparent lack of communication. The delivery period caught us by surprise too, the shipment was delayed from the Far East by factors beyond our control but, of course, we should have kept you fully informed. As you will see from our reviews our communication levels are normally very good, I can only again apologise that we clearly fell short on this occasion. Easy to order and quick delivery. When we had an issue with our item being faulty, homearama were responsive and quick to address it, sending a replacement that they tested before sending to ensure it worked. I would recommend.

Hachiman changed their European warehouse earlier this year and, to be honest, there have been challenges along the way so we are sorry we couldn't supply immediately. That said we are pleased our communication and service was felt to be excellent, thank you so much, and we would certainly love to welcome you back again.

First, and most important, we really are truly sorry you have been inconvenienced by the Relaxound Zwitscherbox developing a fault. Your order was delivered promptly in secure packaging and, as soon as you called to let us know of the issue, we immediately sent a replacement without any fuss. It just isn’t possible for us to open and test every product before despatching but, when a rare issue does occur, then we can assure you we do everything we can to put things right quickly. Whilst we fully appreciate how frustrating it is when products seem to fail we must also say that we really feel a 1-star review is not justified given the service and care we provided.

After giving it another listen, we did detect a few distant, possibly introverted gulls lurking in the background, but we wholeheartedly agree with your assessment. We’ve already taken this up with the manufacturers, as we believe our seagulls should be bold, proud, and unafraid to squawk front and centre.

Absolutely fantastic customer service
Absolutely fantastic customer service. I ordered a lovely bag to be delivered to my sister in law but unfortunately I typed in the incorrect postcode for delivery!!! After the parcel went from place to place without it being able to be redirected from our end, Customer service managed to stop and recall the delivery and amend the postcode. It was then delivered successfully. I was very pleased indeed and would highly recommend this company for exceptional customer service, should you need them, and fabulous quality goods.
