So far Homz have been very good. They have offered a fair price and course of action. Very polite. Hope it carries on like this.

I have spoken to Homz Uk with regards to our need for the procument of drawings for the building segulations. So far its great to deal with Alex Harriman the Custmer Advisor.

I made initial contact with Homz team as I needed both planning and Listed Building consent for my extension project on a Grade 2 listed building. They have all been very prompt to respond and quickly set up a preliminary guidance call with one of there town planners as I wanted to discuss the details and answer some questions I had about the project. The call with the town planner, who was very polite and knowledgeable, was very useful, informative and all my questions were answered in detail. I then received a planning checklist and quotation the following day. I look forward to the rest of the process going as smoothly.

I contacted Homz for a heritage assessment. So far, we’ve been guided through the process with ease, and the recommendations for additional services were relevant and to the point. Communication during onboarding has been 5 star

I used Homz for a planning application I did for a garage conversion for my 3 bedroom home. Alex in customer service was great and Homz handled my application which was eventually accepted very smoothly.

Terrible service, I was told I’d get a personalised planning feasibility report and was left being told the permitted development rules (which I already knew and can access on line) and to hire an architect to progress beyond that as everything outside of permitted development is deemed “high risk.” Despite explaining I wanted to understand what was feasible and likely to be accepted by my council before getting an architect and being told that’s exactly what I would receive - personalised and tailored advice based on my project. Absolutely not what I got - a very generic thoughtless service. I have complained, sent emails and called several times asking to either be given the personalised advice I was promised or a refund and have been ignored. Avoid. £100 wasted.

I didn't invite my builder to anything, I attended the call alone - I don't have a builder
I did respond with questions and next steps and was ignored - I said I either wanted a refund or to receive the actual service you offer - you didn't respond to this
My 4 page document is useless - it contains your offer to get more funds out of me, a disclaimer and
"N/A"
"Planning Case History There is no relevant planning history available."
and the generalised advice of follow permitted development or get an architect. All of which I could have gleaned from chatgpt.
I did send this follow up email again to your hello@ email and have been ignored
I received a generalised statement of risk about doing anything other than following permitted development not the personalised, tailored, project specific service you advertise on your website. I stand by what I have put above. Avoid this service and company.

I worked with Homz for a pre planning consultation. They were well informed and helpful, though I had to follow up once for the final response, but that may have been an issue with my email and expedited timeline.

Good experience

We had our initial consultation with a town planner last week. She was very professional and very knowledgeable. We were also happy with the report we received afterwards outlining the recommendations on what we needed to do in order to prepare our application form for Planning Permission. We have actually decided to use Homz to act as an agent on our behalf and submit the application for us, as they are able to do this within 10days.

Great experience of homz, Alex in customer service was exceptionally helpful. My planning permission was granted with ease. 10/10

Spoke to a representative of this company who initially gave help and advice. After deciding to hire them their response time callbacks emails and telephone enquiries were hope no response at all. I certainly wouldn’t recommend this company for help with any sort of job let alone planning.
The days I called for further help were Friday 28th March and wasn’t put through to anyone who could help then I called 7 times on Monday 30th March and got no answer whatsoever then sent email then called on Tuesday 31st wasn’t put though to any who could help then sent email explaining my dismay and still wasn’t put through to anyone who could help. Finally sent email on Tuesday 31st and mentioned my displeasure regarding communication,
This has nothing to do with the report they were preparing just further advice I needed regarding their services,
Whatever way you look at this review it is not the response I would expect from any company offering a service

I contacted HOMZ regarding a retrospective planning permission for a council flat. They were responsive, informative, helpful, and professional. The application was approved with no issues. I highly recommend their services.

I was advised I needed full planning for my project, therefore paying for full plans as well as the Council planning fee, overall costing em nearly £2000 to then be told by the council planning was not needed. I asked for a partial refund as I was advised wrong but after going back and forth no refund will be issued. I specially asked if I could use permitted development but was told I required full planning!!!

Homz have been brilliant from start to finish helping us through the full planning permission process for our gym.

As you’d expect, things didn’t go completely smoothly with the council and we were asked to provide additional assessments. What stood out was how clearly Homz laid out the next steps straight away. No confusion, no delays, just a clear plan of action.

They also have consultants within their team who were able to quote and carry out some of the required work, which kept everything in-house and made the whole process far more streamlined. That saved us a lot of time and back-and-forth.

Communication has been solid throughout, and they were flexible with payments as well, which made a big difference as a small business dealing with unexpected costs.

If you need planning support that’s organised, responsive, and actually moves things forward, I’d recommend Homz without hesitation.
