I've placed three orders
I've placed three orders, two as gifts and one for myself, because my son-in-law is an apple FREAK and got me back into them. He's a Texan and was stationed in upstate NY for a few years and I also lived there for three years in high school. But I am a Texan, and we grow great peaches and pecans, but WE DON'T GROW GOOD APPLES. Every order has been very fresh, which is also frustrating because the variety I really love is out of season). I have nothing but good things to say about this family run company.

Honeycrisp apples are tricky
Honeycrisp apples last year were fantastic. The crop this year had less flavor and some early internal browning. The Macouns 15% rotted in the gift boxes stored at 40f. The Honeycrisp people always make things right. Mother Nature… not so much.

Gift boxes for many years -- always fabulous!
I've been ordering gift boxes for Christmas from honeycrisp.com for probably a decade. I always get wonderful complements from my neighbors and physical therapist who receive them from me. Love that I can choose unusual apple varieties that they can't get in the stores. Always beautifully packed and delivered promptly. I get a kick out of the Honeycrisp.com newletters with pictures of their family and the birds outside the office. Fruit coming right from the farm - yay!

Ordered 1/2 bushel of apples for $75 (with shipping). Apples arrived bruised, gouged and cut.
I advised the company and Paul Woolley responded within minutes. A new box is being prepared and shipped to me.
Excellent customer service in response to my issue.
