Good morning, I absolutely enjoyed my first box and would give it a high rating. The second box I received is extremely disappointing none of those projects I would use. The yarn was beautiful, but the projects not so much. I will have to consider if I will continue this subscription.

It's so exciting to open a box to see the treasures!! The yarn is gorgeous, the patterns are nicely varied, the needles are high quality. Everything was just great!! Just about finished with my first project!

I received my first two boxes without incident. I am still working on completing the projects and found them to be helpful in learning new techniques. The instructions were clear and the little gifts were nice. The yarn is not the best quality as the it would "untwist" while crocheting and cause stitch issues.
In early December, I decided I wanted to change my subscription to every two months instead of monthly. This was simply based on how busy life can be. Unfortunately, to my surprise, the January box was shipped and I was billed. This is not going to cause financial hardship but it was an unexpected charge none-the-less. Due to this issue, I cancelled my subscription and filled out a survey explaining the reason why.
Overall, if you like the monthly projects it is fun. The issue with being charged and shipped a monthly box even after changing my subscription, caused trust issues with Hooks and Needles.

Shipping on the box was fast. The projects in the first box are easy for beginners like me and I like that there are also video instructions.

I ordered my box 12/15. The last UPS update I’ve had was on 12/21. I’ve reached out to customer service countless times with no response. I gave some grace because of the holidays but the radio silence from the customer service department is deafening. I was so excited to try the knitting box and learn more but I’ve just been left disappointed.

Ordered a set of knitting needles as a gift for Christmas December 10th, it is now January 3rd, never received the item. Responses are minimal to non existent. Formally requested a refund. Frustrated by this company, will NEVER order from them again.

Update: Order did arrive nearly a month after I had placed the order. Never received a response to my email from their customer service, only response was on here. Still will not be ordering from them again.

Ordered an Aluminum Knitting Needle Set with Case that never showed up. I ordered the item on Dec. 6th for a Christmas present. Since this is the busy season, I knew it was going to take a while to arrive. On Dec 20th, the tracking information showed the order in the carriers facility and had been since Dec 14th. I emailed support asking for information. I received a reply saying the carrier had lost the item and if I would like to have the item resent or a refund. I asked to have the order resent and if they could send it express to make up for the time lost. I never received a reply. I emailed again on Dec 27th asking them now to refund the order since I had not receive a reply and I did not hear back, I would dispute the charges on my credit card. I have not heard back and have disputed the charges.

I sent in an issue on a box I received as a Christmas gift. It only had yarn. No needles, no pattern, nothing. I contacted support and they said I needed an order number. I got it and sent it to them. It has been three days with no response. I have tried to call, no one answers. I have tried chat on their website...two hours with no response. Their website says they can be reached 24/7 that does not appear to be true. They have the WORST customer service and may cancel this subscription. It isn't worth the hassle when something is incomplete and no response on what is missing and when it will be sent. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! Save your money for your local yarn shop.
I just got a response through Trust pilot, from Hook and Needle wanting more information. I have sent them three emails, with the issue and pictures with the box only containing yarn, to their support email address. They should look at those and respond to them. They wanted a reference number. I don't know what that is. Is it the order number? Be specific.

I ordered the crochet box, Nov 2. Got almost here then went back because it was damaged. I had to get in touch with them and finally got it was damaged. Had to get in touch again to find out if I was getting it. Took about 3 weeks. I decided to give them one more shot. Haven't gotten my next order yet been 15 days and USPS still doesn't have it. I would not recommend this company at all. I will not order anything else from them.
Jan 2nd still no order. Still hasn't made it to usps. Definitely would never recommend this company. They got in touch with me through what seemed to be automated email. They wanted to give me 20% off my next order as if I'd order anything from them again.

I absolutely love my subscription boxes I have received from them. The yarn is always high quality and beautiful! The patterns are so easy to follow and they include pictures for people like me who are visual learns. I am in love with the crochet hooks... I want one for every size, and my collection is growing with every box!!! And there's always something extra, a special little gift. All in all its a wonderful joyful experience!
