Hope Macaulay is a family-run, woman-owned contemporary luxury fashion brand, founded by textiles designer Hope Macaulay on the beautiful North Coast of Northern Ireland. Just two years after graduating, Hope Macaulay emerged in 2020 as an inspiring, slow fashion, global brand, hailed by the fashion world as dopamine dressing. What began as Hope knitting alone in her bedroom has expanded into a team of 20 skilled knitters working from home across Northern Ireland, helping keep the traditional cottage industry alive. Hope is best known for her creation of the signature statement piece, the Colossal Knit Cardigan. Unable to find pieces to make from other’s knitting patterns, she developed her own method, just by using her hands. By mastering a unique knitting technique that uses no needles, Hope has trained her knitters to create her designs, her favourites made from sustainably sourced materials like luxury merino wool. The cardigan is beautiful. I would have appreciated some contact between the order and the delivery as I worried my order hadnt been received.
Just to let you know the box had a hole in it when itwasdeluvrred but luckily although the cardgan could be seen it hadnt been damaged

Great alternative to a jacket
Really lovely thick and soft cardigan, beautiful colours, ordered and received within 3/4 weeks, lovely staple piece for the autumn instead of a jacket.

Customer service team were great. Responsive and accommodating. The product is fantastic in all aspects. Our only complaint was the courier provider wasn't very good, which made us nervous with such an expensive product.

Chunky knit cardigan
My chunky knit cardigan is one of the most beautiful pieces that I own! It is absolutely stunning. The cardigan is perfect for cold winter days, and as someone who can’t stand the cold, this is perfect! The piece itself is so well made, and the colour is perfect. Ever since I’ve been wearing it, I’ve gotten so many compliments.

Of course the cardigan is beautiful, but I would add that the communication and care and attention have been stellar.
The first cardi was too big and it was as easy as can be to return it and receive a smaller replacement.
I can't wait to wear my sweater.
