The event was so well organised, the staff at the venue were so friendly and genuinely happy to have all of us there. I love that not only is Independence Project a community interest company but Hot Box is as well. I genuinely enjoyed every minute and it was a joy to take my son along. I look forward to going to more of these type of events at Hot Box. A******

Amazing people with a real passion for music. I was fortunate to play there for Independent Venue Week and it was a real treat to say the least. They are currently broadcasting their live stream which are of a really high quality. Share and like if you can because this is a venue that needs to stay forever!!

This place is something else, amazing soundsystem, 650 spirits and a great selection of bands and Djs. incredible grassroots venue. Check out their online content to see the bands they put on.

Great intimate venue/bar/shop. Really friendly atmosphere and for people of all ages. Has amazing decor with endless things to look at. They’ve welcomed lots of local and uk artists and live streamed whilst live gigs haven’t been able to go on. Great content and sound quality, uploaded on a regular basis. Basically I highly recommend they genuinely care about what they do. I only have good words to say about the the business and the people who own and work there. Keep doing what you’re doing.

The best venue in Chelmsford run by genuine music lovers. The bookings here are ace, you can pretty much guarantee that there will be a good band or DJ even if you haven't heard of them. They care about who plays. And the sound quality and production are great too. Always a friendly vibe too with people there. And good for live streaming. Hot Box seem to seriously care about quality and go out if their way to make everything to their high standard. Amazing selection of drinks too.

Really diverse, and they always create such a groovy atmosphere. They offer so much to visiting musicians and their community even through a really tough year! yes lads!!!

Hot Box Live is the home of live music in Chelmsford.

I can’t remember when another venue last brought so many unique and independent bands to perform in the City, and you can tell they really care about the artists and the arts.

Chelmsford would be a worse City to live in without them here, and I can’t wait to get back in once they are able to reopen
