Not very helpful expensive dissapointed with them felt let down by them the worst I've come across didn't seem to care about the customer never deal with them again after this im old age pensioner think they'd be more caring towards the customer

Absolute rubbish,owned trike ten years never had a claim on any vehicles in the 30 plus years of driving and now can't seem to get insured WHY!?.....

I recently obtained a quote for campervan insurance with Motorhome Direct, part of Howden Insurance.

I had the pleasure of speaking with Kerry Cornwell, who was extremely professional, polite, knowledgeable, and very easy to talk to. She explained the policy thoroughly, ensuring I fully understood the cover and options available, and made the entire conversation both straightforward and enjoyable.

Kerry is a real credit to Howden. Her excellent customer service and attention to detail gave me complete confidence in the policy, and she was the main reason I decided to take out the insurance.

I hope I have the opportunity to speak with her again when my policy is due for renewal next year.

Alex at Newbury branch of Howden Insurance was so helpful and patient when I recently enquired about tractor insurance. He took me clearly and effectively through the quotation process. He did exactly what he said he would do and then left me with all the information I needed. No hard sell and no faff.

We have been using the Witney branch of Howdens for two years to insure our car. We have dealt with several people, but have found all the team to be friendly, professional and knowledgeable at all times when calling or visiting the branch. The reason we like using Howdens (and not 'online compare sites') is because we can actually talk to a human being and talk through details to ensure we have the correct insurance for our needs. Emails and return calls have always been timely and any queries dealt with promptly. No hesitation to recommend this personal service from the Witney branch.

I have today had the pleasure of dealing with Ryan Smith for my two vehicles insurance renewals. He was very thorough and clear on all aspects of my renewals, and understood little tweaks and changes I requested on the policies without question. It was like having a chat with a good friend - and I am delighted with the customer service I have received today. I have been with Howdens for several years now, and every year at renewal which ever Agent I speak with the customer service standard never drops !! I'm your typical clueless broke girl with points on my licence and Howdens have been bending over backwards to help me get the best deal. It doesn't matter how often I call, how silly my questions are or how much I change my mind, or how ignorant or frustrated I am; they are genuinely empathetic about all insurance related nightmares, explain all the jargon in ways I can understand it, and do all the pain in the butt legwork that normally leaves me spiralling. To be able to walk into the shop without an appointment and have a face to face chat with the person helping me is invaluable, I really can't recommend them enough!!

Have a PHI claim with a six month excess. Due to their delays, claim will not be settle for at least 3 months passed the excess period.
