Jacqueline, Marlene and their manageress Natasha treated us very well on our two visits to the Glasgow store. They were very helpful about us making the right choice and nothing was too much trouble to them. They were very knowledgeable about their products. There was absolutely no sales pressure or attempt to promote a particular item making it a relaxing experience.

We received delivery of my wife's Aysgarth riser recliner two weeks ago and she is absolutely delighted with it, so much so I phoned the Glasgow branch today and spoke to Daniel and ordered another for myself as like my wife I suffer from arthritic knees. Daniel was as always highly professional and friendly, took my order and we are now waiting eagerly for delivery of the new chair. Highly recommend this shop and the quality of the chairs. You won't be disappointed.

Marlene, Glasgow, was friendly and welcoming. She was knowledgeable and gave us excellent advice. We felt we were able to take out time to select the best chair for our elderly mother. Also given a very welcome cup of tea and biscuits - allowing us to sample the chairs for longer. Very pleasant and satisfactory experience.

A lovely experience from start to finish. Excellent customer care and service from showing us the various chairs sizes,materials and wood choices. While we were sitting trying the chairs we were treated to a welcome cup of tea and biscuits. Looking forward to receiving our beautiful chairs.

I was given a warm greeting by Natasha then asked what I required then shown the range of chairs once I picked the one suited to my needs she offered me a hot drink giving me time to try the chair then went through the measuring process, picking the fabric, and finally explaninig everything from extras to insurance she was wonderful a truly great experience , well worth the journey from Ayr.

Jaqueline was instantly friendly and welcoming and made the experience a pleasant one for my mother in law. Great service and I can’t speak highly enough of Jaqueline’s knowledge and helpfulness. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Very Helpful staff in Glasgow especially Daniel. Having received two motorised beds we are impressed with the quality of the beds and mattresses. We were also impressed by the fast organisation of an express delivery from a limited range at less than 10 days as we required the beds for medical reasons.

"HSL Showrooms are unlike any other showroom" so says the company's brochure and for me this proved to be exactly the case. Tea and biscuits on offer and no hard sell tactics left me feeling relaxed in the Glasgow store where Marlene helped me choose my sofa. Friendly, knowledgeable and genuinely customer focused she made my experience one to remember.

The staff were very helpful. Daniel O'Neil explained everything in detail and nothing was a problem for him.
We were offered tea and coffee which was a lovely.
We came away feeling happy with our purchase and very happy with the customer service

Quality of service was excellent as well as product knowledge from the assistants. Very helpful in getting correct size of chairs / sofa.

The initial meeting of the staff was very welcoming
They gave us the opportunity to try the chairs we were looking for without being rushed, forced to make a decision or pushed to a certain type of chair. The staff could not have been nicer without being over the top. Because of the attitude of the staff and their wide knowledge of their stock, we decided to buy two chairs. Although we had to visit twice because we needed to make sure the material we chose was the right one. The manager confirmed the order and we left very pleased and felt we were listened to.

Assistant was very helpful and showed me the various options and materials.

We visited HSL Chairs Glasgow showroom in early January, we were looking to replace 2 swivel recliner chairs that were getting past their best. We were warmly greeted by Daniel who showed us the chairs that we had seen on the HSL website. It was quickly apparent that this type of chair wouldn’t be the best replacement for us, mainly because they, like our current chairs, were too low & it was becoming more difficult to stand up from them.

Daniel suggested we look at “fireside” chairs which I wasn’t too keen on until I sat in one! Daniel carried out a chair fitting evaluation, advising us on the correct size of chair for comfort & posture while one of his colleagues brought us a proper tray of tea in bone china mugs & some very nice Borders biscuits.

There was no rush, no hard sell and every question we asked was honestly and fully answered.

We ordered 2 fireside chairs, 1 standard chair & 1 grande chair in Opulence Blue with button backs and head cushions. Delivery would be 6 - 8 weeks.

The chairs were delivered this morning by a 3 man team who kindly moved our old swivel recliner chairs to the garage. The 3 men were very respectful of our home and all had a great sense of humour, especially Paddy the charge hand who with his work ethic, should be running the country!

The chairs have exceeded our expectations, the colour of the fabric is superb as is the comfort of the chairs.

Excellent customer service and great choice for Beds

My wife and I visited the Glasgow branch on Tuesday. We were extremely impressed with the beautiful showroom and standard and quality of the furniture. Mimi was absolutely amazing, so patient and explained everything to us. Would highly recommend this company as you won't be disappointed.
