We received delivery of our new armchairs last week and are delighted with their quality. Those who delivered them (Craig and Jed) were polite, professional and provided us with all the information that we required.
Indeed the whole process, from our first visit to the showroom in Newcastle under Lyme, couldn’t have been better.

Today, I was delighted to receive the delivery of four beautifully crafted pieces of furniture ordered from the HSL Newcastle-under-Lyme store.

I have to give a big thank-you to the staff of this store. Especially to Ethan, a trainee who couldn't have been anymore helpful, attentive and considerate and also the Manager, John, for his shadowing help and his guidance through the multitude of choices available in the selection of the appropriate furniture for our future comfort.

Excellent service from start to finish, Julie in Newcastle under Lyme store, nice tea and biscuits. Took our curtains in to match before final decision. Great delivery from Craig and Jed, a bit of manoeuvring, but took arms off and all done. Comfort is excellent, wife loves her petite chair. Delivery was 27th, 23rd March store order date.

I took my brother who has a cognitive disability and who has a fused hip due to break to HSL as he needed a new chair for his residential home. We were met by Dawn and after explaining my brothers disabilities we were shown around quite a range of suitable chairs for my brother to try. All throughout the process Dawn was checking to make sure my brother was comfortable and his posture in the chair was correct etc. I can only say that the care to attention and detail for my brothers needs was excellent, there was no pressure to buy and we were given as much time as possible to make the right decision. The price and delivery time was what I expected and I was also informed about the the complete order process through to delivery. Needless to say I ordered the chair at the end of our visit. 100% for customer care and attention.

HSL staff members David and Mike gave us an excellent demonstration of a working riser/recliner chair. They were both friendly and considerate and took care to ensure we understood their explanations. We had no hesitation in ordering from them as we felt fully informed and confident in the quality, reliability and ease of use of the chair.

Store was very easy to deal with and very helpful. Pricing was quite keen and as it was UK made we had confidence that any supply problems would be OK. Also happy to support a UK business.
Delivery happened in the timeframe mentioned and was communicated to us clearly.
Delivery on time and Alex and Asad did what they said they would do.

The sales trainee who looked after us was exceptional, she didn’t pressure, she guided us and showed us every thing in the store, gave us time.

Julie showed my parents around and was very attentive so my parents were able to have a good selection and decide which would benefit them.

We were met by Dawn when we entered the Newcastle-under-Lyme store,she was very helpful and knowledgeable about the product that we had come to view,although we didn’t decide there and then so she printed out the figures for us to take home and told us to ring if we decided to purchase as the booking could be taken over the phone.After going over everything we decided to purchase the item.Would recommend this company as everything was done professionally and no pressure to buy,well done Dawn a really good shopping experience.

We had a home visit by your comfort specialist Julie with help from Mike both who were very helpful with taking our order and full demonstration of our chosen chair. They were very pleasant and assuring about HSL and quality and it was a pleasure to do business with them.

We had such a good experience choosing our comfort chairs and sofa. David went above and beyond for us — he was patient, and incredibly understanding throughout the whole process. He never rushed us and spent many hours helping us explore every option until we found exactly what we needed.

We were welcomed at the showroom in Newcastle-under-Lyme but not pushed into any decisions. In fact we went back twice before deciding.

Everything went smoothly once we had ordered and the staff at Head Office were helpful if we had any queries.

BUT we had beds from H S L which we are very satisfied with. We look forward to the chairs being as good.

Wonderful experience from visiting the showroom, help from the staff in selecting our furniture, placing our order and taking delivery of the furniture, which came on time and was expertly installed by Ian and Paul with no fuss. They removed all the packaging. and even refused a cuppa. The handcrafted furniture is beautifully made. and stylish. We hope to have many happy years of use.
