Dont buy into it. Theyre trash

Should have looked up the reviews apprently. Reps aren't from the US, they will drag out you canceling, make all sorts of lame offers, and wont cancel until you start cussing at them and threaten to block your card from any transactions (I plan to still do that even tho they said they canceled it dont trust em)

Terrible/Scam

Terrible, just terrible. They keep charging you and ignore request to close your account. They responded to my request to close my account by charging me 2 days in a row.
I reported them to the BBB

I started the free trial. They will not let me cancel the account.
I have sent them emails requesting the change also. They ignore the request and charge again the very next day.
I had to have my bank freeze my account to keep them from taking my money.

This is the definition of Scammer

SCAM!!!

Inaccurate info. I canceled after ten minutes. The stupid rep would not cancel the account until I used profanity. They better not bill my card in the future!
STAY AWAY from this fraudulent company!!!!

I paid the 1:00 for the trial last…

I paid the 1:00 for the trial last night and every time I try to view houses they send me to the registration page and ask me to do it again.I tried to tell them about it and they won't let me enter the website. I want the star I have them back also

Beware - CAN NOT BE TRUSTED

Beware! This is a sleaze outfit! It took me two months, working with my bank, to correct a fraudulent charge they made to my Visa credit card account. The bank initially detected and denied the fraudulent charge, then cancelled and reissued my card with a new number. As a result, I had to contact 6 companies to change the Visa number on auto-pay accounts. Somehow, Hudforeclosed got hold of my new card number and made several attempts to make more fraudulent charges, which the bank denied - then again cancelled and reissued another card number. Again, I had to contact six companies to change the card number. Finally, two months after the initial fraudulent charged, I received a letter from USAA relieving me of responsibility for the charge. Clearly, this company is sleaze and CAN NOT BE TRUSTED.

Customer Service rep refused to cancel my membership

Paid $1 for the trial and realized there wasn't much in my neighborhood so I called to cancel. Spent 8 minutes arguing with the customer service rep who was refusing to cancel my account and kept insisting that I will be billed automatically after the trial. Absolutely obnoxious. I kept saying I want to cancel my membership, I do not want to pay next month. When the rep finally agreed to cancel my membership she told me I can hang up.

Scam

Company provided a list of homes not in foreclosure. I cancelled prior to finding this out. I should've checked Trust Pilot first. I hope they don't charge me after the promotion ends. I do have the cancelation email though.

I started a trial with this company and…

I started a trial with HUDFORCLOSED and it ends in another week or two.
I called on 08/20/2023 and Canceled with Maricel on two phone calls and since she didn't cancel the 1st time, I called again and spoke to Mark and canceled with him and he spoke to me as if I didn't know the companies name. He found my account and unless I said it correctly he wasn't going to cancel.

Well I said it correctly and he still didn't cancel my account. My phone phone rang after the call which had to be Maricel but she set on the phone quiet like I expected.

They treat us like we're the mentally unstable ones, but they will call back and not speak!
Due to their unprofessional behavior, they will never get anymore business from me. I do not have the time to be insulted by clowns.

If you decide to do business with these people, use a credit card and make sure IT'S A VIRTUAL CREDIT CARD. That way you can keep track of your account and possible future THEFT.

Only use 1-Merchant per virtual card.
If anything is stolen only one company could have done it.

I called again and spoke to Maricel the 2nd time and stated I was putting a complaint in online since I canceled with her during the 1st phone call and she did not process my request.
SAYING THE WORD COMPLAINT made her cancel on this 2nd call but she didn't share with me that she was doing that. UNPROFESSIONAL.
Instead she set on the phone quiet.

I hung up, since I do not play with adults AT ALL.

I called again and spoke to Wendy and requested for a supervisor. She ignored the request and tried to prevent me from speaking to one. It didn't work!

I was transferred to Katherine who confirmed the account was finally canceled and by Maricel.
During the 2nd call.

The fact that I had to call more than once, I am putting a complaint in with BBB and on Monday I will call the FTC due to bad business practices...

What these companies should know is that when we call to cancel, THEY BETTER DO JUST THAT!

My major issue with HUD is my credit…

My major issue with HUD is my credit card was hacked in a little over 48 hrs. of registering with them. HUD's office is located in Glendale, CA & the purchase on my "Not Present" credit card was used for Exhibit Los Angeles which is surprisingly in Los Angeles. Glendale just coincidentally happens to be in the heart of Los Angeles too. Although they say their site is secure from outsiders, insiders have access to information when you think about it. I did speak to a customer service representative about this & understandably, he defended his company. Hacking is still extremely worrisome.
The site also claims you can cancel your subscription online or by calling them. NO!! You CAN NOT cancel your account or remove your credit card from their site at all. In order to cancel YOU HAVE TO CALL THEM. At that point, they become extremely high pressure sales people & it's nearly impossible to get a word in edgewise to speak. They offered me a $25.00 gift card plus a discount on my monthly rate ($19.99?) to remain a customer. It was very frustrating trying to be removed from this account.
Plus as one other reviewer stated, information on their homes is not kept up to date. I had found a home I was interested in but when I checked with my local auditor's office, I discovered it had been purchased.
All issues considered .. I don't recommend spending the dollar for the simple reason it is so frustrating to cancel & their information isn't accurate.
As far as the hacking goes, that was a serious coincidence that I hope HUD looks into somehow, but it does happen with other companies. It's a risk we all take any time we use a credit card online.

Considering trial, Wrong. They bill full amount in 2 weeks

Took trial, wanted to cancel as they show vague information at best, and outdated listings. They BILLED my CC for full amount 20 days after agreeing to 30 day trial. VISA allows this type of RIP OFF. Tried to cancel, not at all as easy as claim. Make you call a phone number, they want life history on who they talking too, then try to keep you with half price, then 80% discount. All I say is want to cancel, they interrupt and try to keep offering you different plans, till finally 20 minutes later, they acknowledge and cancel the account - we will see.

No valid listing and they won't cancel easily

All the listings are not valid as they've already been sold or no longer on the market. As I was attempting to cancel the service it took forever as the "customer service operator" kept insisting I keep the subscription by offering discounts then when I kept saying to cancel she went on to inform me of ALL the properties they have listed (once again none were active) and ALL the credit repair services, loan services and investment services (they do not have just links to other websites). FINALLY, it was cancelled.

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A TRIAL

DO NOT SIGN UP FOR A TRIAL! They will steal your money. I requested a refund as I did not authorise them to take funds each month and they only refunded a small portion back, the customer service is extremely rude and I had to chase for someone to get back to me. I am still owed $248 USD. Give me my money back or I'll keep posting these reviews everywhere.

I signed up for the trial and paid…

I signed up for the trial and paid $1.00 for a certain amount of days. They advertised that they have property for less than $10000. I joined to learn more about where and what these homes are looking like.
After logging in and seeing that all of the homes were over $100,000 I sent a message letting them know what was advertised.

They canceled my trial WITHOUT MY REQUEST and stated that I could continue logging in to view the homes until August 21st.
That was a lie!

I have not been able to log in ever since I was canceled. I have logged in only once and never able to anymore unless I pay again.
I sent them messages and received goofy messages in return instead of a real response and solution.

This FRADULENT act of there's makes HUD look horrible. I could careless of the trial and the $1.00 I was scammed out of. I don't like being scammed and I especially prefer to cancel my own accounts.

I would fight them over my money but I am not since it's clear that they needed to scam someone to get a dollar.
They can have it since that's clearly all the company is worth. Who else would lie to get a dollar?
