My shoes were damaged on opening. DPD left the box on the floor in the rain.
When I opened the soaking wet box the box was soaking and shoes wet with tissue paper stuck to them. I contacted hugs and co on the chat and within minutes they had said they would arrange a new pair to be delivered and they would sort the return of the damaged one. They were efficient, responsive and apologetic- it was nothing to do with them.
Today they’ve offered 2 methods to return the shoes and all very easy.
I can’t rate them high enough.

Very happy with my recent purchase of driving loafers, they are very similar to a pair I bought in Italy 30 years ago. I ordered on a Sunday night and was surprised to receive them so quickly. I'm sure I will be back for more in the future.

I took these loafers out wild boar hunting in Texas and they were the best! I’ve never known such versatile shoes, absolutely love them and will stick with this brand from now on. Perfect from the forest to the function room!

Amazingly arrived in time for Christmas with last minute ordering as presents for 2 members of the family. They absolutely love the cool coloured boots and loafers and can’t believe how comfy they are from new! Defiantly making another order soon.

A super brand that produces good quality shoes. I received the tyre sole penny loafer in white leather in September and just can't get enough of it! So comfortable and a great practical option for all weather. I'm a bit of an advocate and have a pair of the penny driving loafers, espadrilles and slippers too!! Highly recommend. Quick and easy returns too if you need another size.

This company gives excellent customer service. I have bought numerous pairs of Hugs shoes and slippers in recent years , all of which are very well made and wonderfully comfortable. Last month I made an error in ordering and needed to contact the company to correct this and received helpful and personal service. A free return was arranged promptly .
I’m going to add a brightly coloured pair of suede loafers to my collection in the Spring.

Really beautiful shoes! Extremely comfortable and well made. Also, nice to support a local business. This is the second time I’ve bought a pair and by no means the last. I swapped about a bit because I couldn’t decide on the colour- exchanges super easy and very quick. Would love them to do a navy version with a leather sole as the driving loafers wear out quite quickly if you aren’t just wearing them for driving - and they’re so comfy you never really want to take them off! Great company, I would like a pair in every colour.

Tone deaf, products aimed at causing local controversy

Just received my second pair of Penny loafers with the leather sole option - such great shoes. When I was trying on my first pair, at first, although the size was fine (very true to the size), the shoes felt a bit snug around my Achilles tendon area but as soon as I started walking in them, the shoes almost moulded around my feet. Super comfortable, hence ordered the second pair in a different colour. Love the look as well. Additionally, a big star from me for the speedy delivery.

Amazing, high quality, perfect shoes! Literally never heard of these guys before last week but now I'm a fan. Definitely gonna shop with them again!
