Giving 3 stars for now as I'm still waiting. I really want to be a long-term member as the company seems great, but I’ve heard absolutely nothing on my loan application despite doing Open Banking and the portal. I’m starting to get really worried as this is for my son’s trip and I was hoping for a quicker response or at least an update so I can plan. Really hoping someone can look into this today.

I would just like to place on record my thanks for the Sterling service I have recieved from several members of the HEY CU team while securing a loan.

Firstly from Becca 26.02.26. Then Mia yesterday and finally Matthew today.

Throughout I has placed at the heart of the process, with all options explained and explored. Which enabled me to make the correct choices with confidence.

I would have no hesitation in most highly recommending HEY CU if you are considering a loan application.

I've consistently had positive outcomes with this credit union, having relied on their services multiple times. The application process is always simple, and their school uniform loans are incredibly helpful! I've also utilized them for a CB loan and school uniform needs. The repayment through my child benefit makes everything so much more convenient! I'm truly grateful!

This is my first year saving with the HEY credit union Christmas Saver. It’s been a great and easy way to save for Christmas withdrawals were straightforward either at the counter or on the app. Money was paid out same day. I will definitely use this service again and have recommended it to my friends and family..

Very practical and easy to open and save, plus no temptation to use money before. Plus you decide amount you can afford.
I couldn't work out how to get my money out from my online account, so rang and a lovely gentleman gave me detailed instructions, and advise. Really helpful and lovely to talk to. Used Driffield branch to withdraw money, again lovely helpful ladies, really appreciate the fantastic customer service and general lovely nature of all staff encountered.

It was so easy and the staff in branch are so helpful nothing is too much trouble.

Easy to use, just set up a standing order in January, draw it out in December - sorted

Great communication, easy to set up and trust worthy experienced staff to make the whole process simple to sort. Helped me out for Xmas with the xmas saver. Comes directly from your wage again simple to sort.
The online portal is easy to use and you can see your pot grow intime for xmas. Staff always available for advice and support at the drop of a hat. Thankyou.

Made it very easy to save for Christmas. The £25 joining bonus was very nice as well.

First time last year i join the Christmas saver it was good i never miss the amount each week so was nice this year in November when i got paid out i would advice anyone to join with Hey Credit Union

I have had so much help saving through the credit union, I struggle to save on my own but I send a small amount each week and that saves up fast for the emergancies when money becomes tight at the end of the month.
I have also used the credit union to save for things like private dental care and private mental health assesments for my children. All of which was very much needed.

The staff are always amazingly helpful and I truly can't express how much I have leant on them at times, not only financially but emotionally and they have always been fantastic with me.

Incredibly friendly team, my application was easy to submit on the website and it was really quickly dealt with. I was massively surprised with how easy it was.

I have been a member for about 3 yrs now, hands down the best bunch of people you will ever deal with when it comes to loans. I have quite a rocky life in that any issues in my family always lands on my head to sort, I have been able to get a loan for the predicaments I have been in with no issue. They have been fully flexible and understanding of my situation each time. They literally go above and beyond to help you out. They really take your loyalty seriously too and definitely out the customer at the heart of everything they do
