First order but not the last!
It's my first time ordering online with Hurleys, and I am very happy. The ordering process was super simple, updates were prompt and the shoes were shipped quickly.

Ridiculous
Each time I completed an order, they would suddenly charge me extra shipping fees, claiming it was due to packaging issues. But absurdly, when I received the package, they had simply wrapped it in a bag, with no other packaging or even a box, they charged me almost £600 for shipping! It's utterly ridiculous.

From what you’ve described, I believe your order may have been for an international delivery. To clarify, no shipment we send would ever cost anywhere near £600 just for the shipping. In cases where additional shipping is required, the adjustment is typically between £5–£30, depending on factors such as the delivery location, parcel size, and the contents of the order. We do not charge extra for packaging itself, but if an order is large and requires a box rather than a bag, this can affect the shipping cost. This is also stated on our website.
If you’ve consistently been asked to pay more, it’s most likely due to the destination country. At the moment, our system can’t automatically calculate precise international shipping rates at checkout, which is why we charge a flat rate initially and then follow up by email if the actual cost is higher.
Some international destinations also apply duties or import fees. Whenever this applies, we always notify customers before dispatch so you have the option to cancel if you prefer not to pay those charges.
Please do reach out to us if you have any further questions or concerns. And just to reassure you — we do not charge £600 for shipping under any circumstances.
