So Iain represented me for an unlawful arrest case where the police came and wrongfully arrested me due to not knowing how to do their job properly at 2.30am one morning and woke my kids up and removed them from the property and took them somewhere they clearly said they didn't want to go to. Fortunately, I have had no need to use this firm. However, I have read for some time the weekly blog where real cases (names withdrawn) are shared. The tenacity with which cases are pursued is impressive. If the police mistreat me Ian Gould will be my first call.

Given the importance of this subject and its relevance to everyone who owns a smartphone, i.e. nearly everyone, the article on S19 PACE should be required reading for everyone! The police indifference to, ignorance about, and abuse of the law requires knowledge to combat it. I say this as a retired police officer. Mr Gould has done a public service by circulating this blog.

Iain Gould is well experienced in legislation and beyond to fight against corrupt PC's ,,= bad apples , some good apples but fear of recuptions , then become bad apples = Scopophobia = perception

I have never used the services of this lawyer professionally but often look at his blog. In this case it was when trying to keep abreast of the situation regarding the extreme force used by Sussex police in restraining care home resident Donald Burgess. Gould is one of the few professionals offering a critical opinion of this appaling case and this is very much welcomed - my own MP just issued a series of glib Home Office statements emphasising that the police are on our side and react proportionately - completely at odds with this situation. Gould is a reassuring voice against institutional corruption and brutality.

I approached Iain after being unlawfully arrested & wrongly accused of sexual assault on a self defence courseI had run.
