I’ve had my issues with ibVPN and bbc iPlayer, but have finally gotten around to installing ibDNS on Apple TV - it’s a game changer.
Love it.
Just extended my subs out til 2021!

Non risalta tra i "giganti" del settore, come fama, ma può in tutti i versi competere e anche superare alcuni di essi.

Apprezzatissima la soluzione All-in-One con VPN (Double, P2P, Gaming, Netflix, etc.), Smart DNS, Shadowsocks, Stealth Protocol, Anti-Leaks RTC e IPV6, Socks5 Proxy.

La velocità della VPN soddisfacente è garantita con la maggior parte dei protocolli, i quali sono numerosi e consentono una varia scelta in base alle necessità. Dal debole PPTP per una leggera protezione, alla sua versione più strong, ovvero L2TP, all'SSTP, super-strong encryption a 2048 bit (anche se... proprietaria Microsoft), passando per il medio IPSec, il classico e favorito OpenVPN (UDP e TCP) a 256 bit, stabile e sicuro, anche in versione OpenVPN + ObfsProxy, ovvero StealthVPN, utilissima per aggirare firewalls e protezioni varie.

I servers sono molti, anche se negli Stati più richiesti (come USA e UK) non sono presenti tutte le località, ma le più importanti si possono trovare anche in 2-3 servers diversi. Sono vari e diffusi in tutto il mondo.

Smart DNS non è potente quanto una VPN, ma utile anch'esso in alcuni casi, giusto proporlo in una Suite per anonimato online.

Apprezzate anche facilità e intuitività d'uso dell'intero software.

Supporto veloce e ottimo, mi ha risolto 2 problemi in cui sono incappata (uno riferito al supporto tecnico e una richiesta al reparto vendite).

Last but not least, la grafica è chiara, piacevole e minimale, le funzioni principali sono ben evidenti, senza troppi fronzoli ma senza essere spoglia o desolante.

Molto soddisfatta di questa soluzione, pur avendo utilizzato per molto tempo VPN rinomate come NordVPN, IPVanish, TorGuard ed altre.

Firstly let me just correct something after reading other reviews.
Despite what some reviews here state, the customer service at ibvpn is amongst the best I have ever had at any website ever. No, really!
To say the first line support are rubbish is a bit unfair and cruel. First line support aren't usually experts, on any site! They usually try to help and if they can't, once theyve ruled out some more basic and common problems they escalate to second level. And second level on ibvpn really are experts who go above and beyond. Numerous times they've got in touch with me to follow up a problem by email later in the day, as if they're still working on fixing it out of hours! They're very friendly and listen to my complaints and suggestions about anything that is wrong.
I'm not sure how they could possibly be any better!
Ok, on with the actual review...

The service:
I have been using ibvpn now for about 6 or 7 years. In the beginning I had issues with slowness, disconnects etc. To be honest it was my first foray into using a vpn and I thought 'hmm vpn are not great'.
I had signed up for a year so I used it while I had it. Within only that one first year they improved and improved. They introduced more servers, the speed increased. Then more sites were defeated by their dns system to enable tv from other countries to be watched. I hadn't cared about that part of the service but decided to try get my money's worth. I was glad I did because I was soon watching some interesting Australian TV shows (which I still do watch to this day - yes, it still works!) and also was able to watch sone USA shows -before they came over to UK or even torrent sites hehehe.
So, jumping forward to today.
Today the program ibvpn provide is so much better than when I first joined. It has many features and many different protocols to use for your vpn connection. There is also a proxy addon for the commonly used browsers. I browse the net with firefox and simply press the addons button to reroute via a proxy if i wish to watch a clip from usa or elsewhere that is limited by location. If youtube says not available in my location i use it to change location fast. Also its great for unblocking sites like pirate bay etc that my ISP sees fit to block on my behalf. Oh and the android app is great and works just as well. I can't say anything about the iphone app as I don't use any apple products.
The vpn is much improved too. I always use tcp vpn and I tend to choose servers in Europe, amsterdam or Germany. They are FAST. I regularly get almost my full downliad speed through these and that is 52mbps. Usually it is slower than that but I still see great speeds. The program tells you how full the servers are by a percentage of how much space is left. Obviously you avoid those servers that are less than 50%. I find that most servers are near 100% all of the time. Yes, really. There are certain servers that for sone reason seem incredibly popular and are regularly running very low at 15% to 40% server space left, but I never use those.
The program has a very good kill switch feature. You add programs to it that you want it to 'kill', should you lose your connection. My ISP disconnects 1 or 2 times daily for some reason so this is needed! You don't want to have a torrent program running and then have the connection go off, so the vpn goes off, then connection comes back and vpn either isn't reconnecting fast enough or somehow doesn't reconnect. Then you are using torrents and have zero ip protection. Not good.
Well their kill switch just works. If your connection goes off for minutes or seconds or even a half hour, the first thing it does is terminate the programs you want protection for. Then, it waits until it detects a connection and tries to reconnect the vpn until it is successful. Only then, will it restart the programs that you put in the killswitch list, like your torrent program. It hasn't always been this good. There have been many updates to get to this point but now, it just works and really really well. I feel so secure with the kill switch being so good.
One more thing I should mention.
The price.
Every year they have a sale around january and the prices really are unbeatable at those times! I have had my account renewed during those sales now for over 5 years. Admittedly, their pricing is very good anyway, check it if you don't believe me. But I always look for a bargain and the sale they have is certainly a bargain!!
Oh and they still have a free trial. Try it then you'll see that what I've written here is all truth.

it's been good for some time, but gone downhill. i've used it mainly for swiss and italian vpn streaming and in the last 6 months i had to cancel and migrate most of my clients. swiss vpn sometimes shows speeds as low as 1/2mb over a 100mb fibre connection. italian does not open some of the stream because of geo blocking (what's the point of using vpn?). UK BBC iPlayer won't work so don't bother. this is probably due to virtual servers. Staff was not helpful when asked for explanation/troubleshooting. Big disappointment overall.

Great VPN and quick and friendly support.

They used to be OK. Now it WON'T get around BBC iPlayer restrictions. I have tried all morning. I even wasted my time with a twit "online" agent that simply gives you a course in the bleeding obvious. As soon as that doesn't work he was stumped and simply tried to waste more of my time by telling me to restart my PC as though that would cure the fact that the BBC has outsmarted them and they cannot be bothered to fix the problem!! Really you can do better than this!!!

First line of customer service is poor however level 2 are superb though.
Also a lot of sites just do not work with their vpn or smart dns services but i know they are working on this.

Customer service is really bad, their 1st line support are not good at handling customers and quite defensive. I'd avoid the service because of this, it's mostly the same experience every time.
They are quick to blame you, until you provide reams of data that show otherwise and then they fix it. They make generic suggestions to fix an issue but not interested helping you as a customer.

Great quality VPN. It doesn't leak, and it's fast enough. They provide some additional, more advanced settings. Currently, the one I am using.

Great VPN service, have been with them for over 3 years, the only problem they have is ibVPN Tap driver that is incompatible with Windows 10 in UDP protocol, I was promised this week to get this issue fixed as soon as possible. Highly recommended.

I recently moved to the UK , I have been only using this to access my services from home and time to time access some gaming servers or HU only material.

All i can say is that this is ok but they could improve speeds

I like the wide range of servers and protocols that ibVPN offers and every time i had some minor issues the support team were fast to answer with great detail and the problem was solved.
