I did A-level Maths with Pawan at Ignite Tutors and it genuinely changed how I approach the subject.

I was predicted and on target for a grade B throughout Year 12 and 13, but ended up achieving a grade A, 233 out of 300, and I honestly put that down to Pawan.

Weekly homework was set and marked by hand by Pawan himself, not just ticked off, but with proper video feedback explaining exactly where I'd gone wrong and how to fix it. Any questions I found tricky got logged into his consolidation system so they'd resurface later, meaning I could actually check whether a technique had stuck or if that area was still shaky. My progress was tracked thoroughly, topic by topic, so I always knew exactly where I stood instead of just hoping I was improving.

WhatsApp support was almost 24/7, and I mean that literally, I could message him about a maths problem or even something unrelated I was stuck on for school and he'd get back to me as soon as he could with detailed methods and even video explanations.

English isn't my first language, so some concepts took me longer to click than others. Pawan never rushed through it or made me feel behind, he'd just explain it a different way, break it into smaller steps, and keep going until it made sense. That patience built up my confidence more than anything else.

Pawan went above and beyond to ensure that any gaps were addressed, concepts were thoroughly taught, and plenty of practice was completed. My kids have been studying with Pawan for 2 years now. Pawan is patient, understanding and knows exactly how to engage them in their lessons if they are losing focus. His teaching style is supportive, encouraging and well-structured, which has helped build both their confidence and understanding in maths. Pawan taught both my children A Level Maths. He was very passionate about what he taught and related very well with them. He was more concerned about them understanding the subject than the money he was being paid.

Pawan has been a huge help in Maahirah’s preparation for her GCSE maths. In under three months, she progressed from working towards the lower paper to confidently moving onto the higher paper, which is a massive achievement for her. Maahirah has learning difficulties, and Pawan has been incredibly patient, accommodating, and supportive, always adapting his teaching style to suit her needs. His clear explanations and encouragement have really boosted her confidence and understanding. We’re extremely grateful for his dedication and would highly recommend him as a maths tutor.

We are really pleased with the support our Son has received from Pawan. Pawan is highly professional, knowledgeable, and mature in his approach. Most importantly he is also knowledgeable in the maths that's is currently being taught at schools and sixth form.
Concepts are explained clearly and thoroughly, and lessons are always well structured and focused on requirements discussed. For example covering ground to be covered at 6th form a couple of weeks ahead of time.

We are having an excellent experience with Ignite Tutors, with Pavan, who is tutoring our son Haris for GCSE Mathematics. When Haris started in June 2025, he was attaining around a Level 5/6 at school. Pavan began teaching him in September 2025, and in his recent GCSE mock exams Haris achieved a Grade 8 (A*), which is an outstanding improvement in a relatively short space of time.

Pavan’s teaching style, approachability, dedication, and his ability to really gel with Haris have been clear standouts and key factors in this success. He builds confidence while pushing for high standards, and Haris has been far more motivated and engaged in maths as a result.

We were initially uncertain about online tutoring, but it has worked extremely well, and the remarkable progress Haris has made is clear evidence of that. We cannot recommend Pavan highly enough as a tutor — the results truly speak for themselves.

Pawan has been extremely impactful in maximising my children’s mathematical abilities. He is able to tailor education to their needs and I have seen a significant improvement in their approach in Maths. Pawan ensures the work produced is to a high standard and I would highly recommend Pawan as there is nothing that is impossible !
