I really admire her passion for work, her support, her detail orientation and everything she did for our case and all the Spanish partners including Luis, Edger and everyone who helped us to get our residence through the digital nomad path here in Spain. The process was really smooth. Everything is well communicated. We have used Immigrant Invest to help us apply for resident visas in Portugal for our family. From the very beginning of the process, in terms of educating us about the process and requirements, through the detailed forms, paperwork, and submission, all the way to the appointment to submit biometrics, the team has been friendly, thorough, prompt, effective, and there to provide all necessary support.

When we started considering doing a Golden Visa program, we had online meetings with five different companies. We chose Immigrant Invest because they seemed the most knowledgeable and were very responsive to our initial inquiries. Now, after having worked with them for close to a year, we feel very fortunate to have chosen this company to help us with our investment and visa application in Portugal. In particular, we would like to mention Pedro Barata and Marielle Burti, who both went above and beyond in their service to us. Pedro guided us through all the paperwork and answered our hundreds of questions with patience and kindness! Really, for several months, we spoke to him nearly every day. His courteous manner, professionalism and willingness to find out the answers to any questions we had was invaluable to us throughout the process. He always made himself available even when there were major time differences. We had two zoom meetings with Marielle which were very clarifying. She also made herself available to us even with the time difference and was the consummate professional. She met us at the AIMA office in Cascais for the biometric part of the application. Her knowledge of the immigration system is immense, and she understands the steps necessary to follow to obtain a positive outcome. Given that we speak no Portuguese (yet!), we would have found the process daunting without her expert guidance. She also met with us at length after the appointment to go over next steps. So far, we have completed all the steps for our “main applicant” and are now awaiting an appointment for our “family member”. We are confident that Pedro and Marielle will assist us through that appointment as well in the same professional manner that they have exhibited throughout this process. We highly recommend Immigrant Invest, and especially Pedro and Marielle, for anyone trying to obtain residency in Portugal!

My process turned out to be more complicated than I expected but the support and due diligence by Immigrant Invest was there 100%. The additional issues I had came from my lack of understanding of the Schengen, and how things work in Malta. As an American we tend to be a bit ignorant to how things work in other parts of the world. So although I’ve traveled a bit over my lifetime, things have changed, and I admittedly made some assumptions based on past experiences that I shouldn’t have. All that said, each issue I created was resolved by the experts at Immigrant Invest. I would never have gotten through this process without them and most certainly would have given up. Should I decided to take advantage of my options to extend my visa, they will be my first call.
