The training was very effective, and the breakout groups were particularly valuable in reinforcing learning. The well-timed breaks also helped structure the course effectively.

I am in the process of completing my L5 in Leadership and Management with David, I have completed 2 out of the required 3 modules and have found them extremely beneficial to both my own development and my practice. David makes the training interactive and interesting, which makes it easier to follow and enjoy.

I have taken 2 courses with Impellus and both times the trainer leading the course was clear easy to listen too and very helpful. They consistantely made sure everybody understood what was happening and made you comfortable. The 2 courses encouraged me to take a deeper look at myself and understand my strengths and weaknesses.

I found this training useful in relation to recognising the communication style(s) of yourself and others, and tailoring your approach accordingly. This was one of four ILM courses I completed and they have all been to a good standard.

I have recently completed my second course with Implellus . Both times with Mel . She has great knowledge and understanding for all types of business. I felt I come away with some great tools within our business .

The trainers are excellent at taking the courses. The break out rooms are a great opportunity to discuss scenarios with other staff in the same position. It's interactive and keeps you engaged.

Amy took our effective communication skills course and must say she was very professional, approachable and knowledgable. It was a real eye opener exploring the DISC analysis and will help in my work going forward. Thank you.

The course covers approaches and perspectives that are useful for understanding people and seeing their perspectives. By giving frameworks for how people differ, it helps us communicate more effectively.

The online format worked really well, and enabled me to meet people from more varied backgrounds and I found this helpful also.

Great course - very thorough and great insight to the industry to help create a successful platform

Completing Introduction to Project Management was a highly valuable learning experience. The course provided a strong foundation in key principles such as planning, organisation, risk management, and effective communication. I gained a clear understanding of project lifecycles and the importance of setting objectives, timelines, and deliverables. The training also highlighted the role of teamwork and stakeholder engagement in ensuring successful outcomes. Overall, it has improved my confidence in managing tasks and contributing to projects in a structured and efficient way. This knowledge will be extremely useful in both my current role and future development opportunities.

I recently completed the first course in a series of four with Impellus at the end of last week. The first course, Developing Winning Teams, was delivered by Marc.

From the initial booking through to the course content and materials being shared in advance, the overall service was excellent.

Marc’s presentation style was engaging throughout and kept everyone involved for the full day. The content was clear and well delivered, and has got me thinking about how I can apply it in practice.

I’m looking forward to the next training session in May. Overall, I would highly recommend it.

I completed Managing and Appraising performance training on 26th March 2026. We covered how to assess performance, analysing performance, how to give feedback, performance issues and diagnosis map, managing performance, critical to quality, Using SMART and CEDAR to set performance standards and objectives; attitudes for success, use of language etc.
There was a good balance of lecturing, activity work in groups and discussion in main group.
Only one issue there was too much material in one day to cover and this training wasn't catered towards non-profit charitable organisations that I found it challenging to apply to my area of work some of the material.

2/4 sessions down on my course and I've learnt so much! I've had 2 trainers, both incredibly insightful and have a wealth of knowledge. Would definitely recommend.

Managing Change and Innovation Course
Well structured and professionally presented course. Helps to understand how the change is essential for business (with many real life examples) and why it could be challenging to implement new things. Course give an insight on process of implementing the change and how to approach it to minimise resistance and increase chances for success.

Great training that used real-life examples well. My only problem was that workbook arrived on the second day of the course, which was a shame.

Marc our teacher was excellent at Impellus with clear instructions of the day, we received our work book before the training and it felt very well organised and thorough. Really enjoyed the experience and I am not looking forward to booking in my further courses to complete. Have no hesitation in recommending Impellus to any business looking to improve your skills or your staff.

We first used Impellus to train our upcoming managers in 2014 and our team have always found the course formats lively, engaging and relevant to their roles back in the workplace. Customer support and account management was extremely helpful and responsive.
