Worst company I’ve ever had misfortune of dealing with. Do not send your Bose system here. 7wks, no communication and Bose customer service are just as bad. Been buying Bose for 25yrs, never again

Worst Service Experience – Feels Like a Scam Backed by Bose

If you're in the EU and have a broken Bose device, you’re likely to be misguided into sending it to Ingram Micro, Bose’s so-called “official service partner.” Don’t fall for it.

Here’s how the scam unfolds:

You send your device in good faith.

As soon as Ingram receives it, they promptly ask for payment to fix the issue – no delay in asking for money.

Once you pay, silence. Then they drop the bombshell – “the part is not available” and it may take some time.

That “some time” becomes 4+ months of no communication, no updates, and no working device.

Emails? Ignored.

Service tracking? Conveniently removed from their online portal – it just disappears without explanation.

Reaching out to Bose? They pretend to take notes, make empty promises to “follow up with Ingram,” and then vanish too. Zero accountability from either side.

After digging through online reviews, it’s shockingly clear that this is not an isolated case. There are tons of people stuck in this same black hole, waiting months on end with no solution in sight. Ingram Micro seems to be running a repair service in name only – take your money, stall indefinitely, and dodge any responsibility.

What’s worse is Bose’s apparent ignorance or deliberate negligence in continuing to refer customers to this utterly dysfunctional company. Either Bose is unaware of the damage this partnership is doing to their brand, or they simply don’t care.

Bottom line: Stay away from Ingram Micro if you value your time, money, and sanity. Bose customers in the EU deserve better than this broken, opaque, and potentially fraudulent setup.

Exceeding my expectations!

I recently received my product from Ingram Micro, and I’m beyond thrilled! I was expecting a simple repair, but to my surprise, they sent me a brand-new product. The level of service was outstanding, far exceeding my expectations. It’s clear why Bose partners with them—they’re reliable, professional, and truly care about their customers. I’m so grateful for this experience and couldn’t be happier as a Bose customer. Thank you, Ingram Micro, for going above and beyond! Highly recommend!

Disgusting

If I could give this company 0 stars, I would. I tested them with a brand new phone that I never used. I was offered £95 quote for a trade in and thought "yeah, on the low side" but not using it.

The response back after a few days? Screen burn...and I was offered a fiver. A fiver... for a new Xiaomi 12? Right.

Completely dishonest and being used by huge brands (Amazon, Bose, etc.). Don't get fooled, this company is a fraud.

Disgusting.

Scam company

Scam company, sent my Samsung to them, they changed their quote to zero, after informing me that my screen wasn't qenuine, my phone hasn't had any damage or repairs made to it. I was also quoted 2 different prices from 2 different companies, I don't know why Amazon and o2 would use these. Avoid sending anything to them

This company is a fraud

It seems that this company changed its name a lot (check on companies house their company number for INGRAM MICRO SERVICES LTD, Company number 03591124. I found this company number on the invoice of the item I was supposed to receive. I placed an order on Samsungparts.com and it never arrived. I tried to contact them, they asked me for an invoice as they "couldn't find" my order number and then silence. Nothing. Shame on you, people, for being a fraud! Samsung must sue you for using their reputation to get to people and more!

Peccato che non posso dare 0 stelle, non capisco come Bose possa affidarsi a voi per l’assistenza! Mi hanno chiesto 250 per aggiornare una sound bar 900 Bose che si era bloccata (seconda volta) mentre aggiornavo io! Quando gli ho detto di non farlo mi hanno chiesto 35€ per rimandarmela, io ne ho pagati 15 all’andata! La più grande truffa legalizzata mai vista una cosa del genere, segnalato anche a Bose ma tanto se ne fregano

Had op advies van Bose Nederland mijn…

Had op advies van Bose Nederland mijn Bose Acoustimas 300 voor reparatie opgestuurd naar Imgram Micro (net nog in Duitsland tegen de Poolse grens). De uitleg over wat het manco was volslagen onduidelijk maar wel een reparatiepost van € 265. Het bedrijf reageert niet op mijn emails, ook niet nadat ik €35,70 had betaald voor terugtransport voor de door hen gemaakte onderzoekskosten. Die je moest betalen als je de reparatie niet door hen liet uitvoeren. Ik heb het nu over een periode van bijna 3 maanden. Bose.nl heb ik mijn ergernis hierover vermeld, maar tot nu toe zonder resultaat.
Mijn advies is derhalve koop geen Bose spullen want de "service" van Bose is schandalig slecht, en die van Ingram Micro bestaat niet daarbij zijn ze ronduit onbeschoft.

Terrible communication

Terrible communication! I had to send my Bose bass Module 700 for reparation and it ended up with Ingram Micro Service in Germany. After a month they told me the reparation costs and after I paid them I received only 1 email which stated that reparation would be delayed because the part for reparation was not in stock. More than a month later after not hearing any feedback I have send several mails to ask for an update and they never responded. 0/10 for service and communication. I hope I will get my module back. Stay away from this firm by any means necessary!

Very nice experience with Ingram Micro :-)

I had a good experience with Ingram Micro. Clear communication via their (German-language) website and email, and a repair/replacement delivered to the Netherlands within a week—faster than UPS predicted. Solid service.

I’ve seen some mixed reviews here, but my experience was different, so I wanted to share it. Oddly, companies I’ve had amazing service from often score low on Trustpilot. Maybe a few cranky folks (their own doing? I’ve only had good experiences with UPS myself, but sending and returning with any postservice from all around the world seems a weak spot) drag the ratings down, while very happy customers don’t bother reviewing on Trustpilot. Trustpilot could use its own ‘trust pilot’ to fly straight—ratings don’t always match reality!

If i could give 0 I would i was browsing on amazon and saw a link to these ppl i clicked it and EE blocked it as malicious anyone who used the link should probably scan your computer and check for malware etc i informed amazon and they said they would look into it

Sky sent my iPad back to be repaired
It was uneconomical to repair so they stated they would send me a replacement and they did send me one which was faulty !!! Absolutely ridiculous service and bad customer service wouldn’t recommend at all stay clear

Quoted £200 for my iPhone 13 Pro. Kept in case. Do scratches or damage, working perfectly as I use the camera to capture website content. They emailed on receipt of the phone offering £40. Stating faulty camera. The camera was in perfect working order. Phone returned in original box and padded packaging. Have asked for the phone to be returned. Avoid. On reading reviews seems like I’m not the first.

Verschwundenes Mobiltelefon

Auf meine Reparaturanfrage für mein Mobiltelefon bei Alcatel Mobile wurde mein Ticket/Anliegen an Ingram Micro Services GmbH (Reparatur 3088x, CRM:0170000012133) in Flensburg überwiesen.
Nach Kontaktaufnahme und auf Anweisung von Ingram Micro Services habe ich das Mobiltelefon mit Begleitbrief und korrekter Adresse zur Reparaturanfrage eingesendet am 18.12.2024.
Am ca. Mitte Februar 2025 ist der leere Bubble Umschlag bei mir fein und sauber wiederverschlossen im Briefkasten gelandet - OHNE Inhalt. Auf dem Umschlag war vermerkt "Nicht abgeholt" !!
Ich kann mir nicht vorstellen das die Behörden oder die Post den Inhalt ohne Information entfernt hat. Das Telefon ist somit ein Verlust. Deshalb nun dieser Eintrag auf dem Trustpilot. Man entscheide selbst ob man Reparaturaufträge an diese Firma mit solch tiefer Sternenanzahl senden kann.
