We’ve had a really excellent experience using Instool.

The software itself is fantastic overall – intuitive, reliable, and clearly designed with the end user in mind. It has made a huge difference to our operations, particularly when it comes to producing detailed and professional handover packs for our ASHP and Solar installations. The quality of the packs we’re now able to provide is noticeably higher, and our customers genuinely appreciate the level of detail and presentation.

On the rare occasion that we’ve encountered any issues, the support chat has been outstanding. Responses are always quick, and any problems are resolved efficiently. It’s worth noting that these instances are few and far between, which speaks volumes about the stability of the platform.

A special mention to Ian and Robert – both are incredibly professional, friendly, and always willing to make time to help when needed. Their knowledge of the industries they support really stands out, and they often go beyond just software support by offering valuable advice.

It’s also great to see that the platform is continually being developed and improved, with regular updates that make it even more user-friendly.

Overall, Instool has been a massive asset to our business, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

I have been using Instool for almost a year now, I’ve got to say it is the best software I have ever used for increasing productivity on the admin and project management side of things.

Not to mention the technical knowledge and support in all areas from Ian & Robert is absolutely amazing.

We definitely would not have been able to scale to the point we are at now without Instool.. unless we hired another bunch of full time Admin!

I used to spend days completing handover packs, it was a never ending cycle! now I can get a weeks worth done in an afternoon!

It’s also great for our installation team, the fitters all have access to project stages so no longer am I chasing for certs and test results, they are all filled out on site and uploaded to the pack ready to go, amazing.

These guys are at the forefront of the industry right now, getting on board was the best decision we ever made and I’d encourage anyone and everyone to do the same!

The handover packs are professional and easily assessable. The ability to add information like annual service reports ensures everything is kept in one place for me and my customers.
The chat facility means I can contact someone if I have any queries and Ian and the team are always very quick to respond

Before we had it, things slipped through the cracks. MCS certificates missed, manufacturer warranties not registered, DNO applications incomplete and the only way we found out was when the customer phoned us.

Brilliant! Instool takes all my Solar install information, from original survey, pictures, testing etc all in one place. Sends all required applications, creates all required certs automatically from that information. It has reduced my admin time on installs to a couple of hours instead of days. I can also store all my company data in my database, ready for my annual MCS inspection which i no longer stress about. Instool makes it all very easy! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

We needed to find a better way for keeping all our MCS compliance and DNO notification in one place as well as automating as much of the process as possible, this has been a great time saver and the instool team as always been mega helpful. The software just keeps better and better they are constantly upgrading it. Fully recommend this solution.

Really impressed with InsTool, the software makes our lives easier with everything in one place, from initial enquiry through to DNO applications and handover packs, as you enter info it auto populates into the relevant documents which is a great time saving feature, Ian and Rob are always at hand if we need anything and are especially helpful at pushing through stalled DNO applications which their inside knowledge and contacts, my last MCS inspection the assessor was impressed with InsTool and it fully complied with the requirements for our QMS, a great alternative to easy mcs. Can highly recommend and excellent value for money.

Instool have helped to streamline our handover process and improve compliance. The system is easy to use and has made a positive impact to the business. Ian is very helpful and responsive with upgrades happening all the time. I would certainly recommend!

Been using InsTool for a couple of months now, it has saved hours of admin work, the service and software have been outstanding, questions always answered, I would not be looking at any other software now that i have this, excellent work.

If you are a solar or a heat pump installer & you are not using InsTool, you are missing a huge trick. This software saves me so much time. A phenomenal platform with outstanding service to back it up & incredibly well priced.
