We had a fantastic experience with Insul8 from start to finish. Matt came out at the end of last year to conduct the initial survey, we weren't quite ready for the installation but finally got it booked in, and they arrived last week right on schedule. Before getting started, they took the time to walk me through the entire process so I knew exactly what to expect.
We had the Thermabead installed, and the difference was immediate. Over the last few nights, as the outside temperature dropped, the house stayed consistently warm. An added bonus we didn't fully expect is how much quieter the house is now, it has noticeably cut down external noise.
Matt and the team on site were brilliant, professional, and left the place spotless after finishing up. A special mention to Jane on the phone as well, who was exceptionally friendly and helpful throughout.

Matt and James, came this morning to upgrade our loft insulation. As their arrival was delayed due to unforeseen circumstances they immediately rang to let us know and arrived within the hour. They were polite, efficient, left everywhere clean and tidy and kindly removed an obsolete loft ladder. The whole process was perfectly carried out and would recommend INSUL8 unreservedly.

From start to finish Insul8 have been an excellent company to deal with. Communication has been first class and it was a pleasure to have their installers doing the cavuty wall insulation. The initial survey was very professional, thorough and answered all our queries.
Insul8's price was competative and I would have no hesitation in recommending them to potential customers.

Matt made my day. Not only did he travel to Shrewsbury but wouldn’t charge me for the work he did. I was under the impression that my garage cavity wall was empty but made surveyed it and told me it was and gravity fed. Not only that he emailed the results and the calculations so my project could continue. The Building Inspector was also content that the process was accurate and from a reliable source.

I felt that not every contractor in the world was out to make a quick buck. A marvellous feeling in this day and age.

I bought a bungalow in Wistaston built around 50 years ago, and found it colder than my precious home which was built by the builder for himself. Suspecting it was not properly insulated I first contacted some companies, whose aggressive marketing meant I would not use them. Having got through to Spring I searched for another company and found Insul8 and rang for a quote.
I was visited by Matt who having inspected everywhere and testing for cavity wall insulation, told me I had sufficient insulation in my loft. He said the small amount he could add in a few spots would not make any noticeable difference, and that cavity wall insulation had been done. I was really impressed by the professional way business was conducted, and his honesty. I suggest anyone looking to have a warmer home cannot look any further than this company. Matt is very knowledgeable about insulating houses. He understands the issues such as potential condensation and thermal bridging. I have worked in the building world as a passivhaus consultant for years and he is one of the most thorough, well informed trade person I have met.

Matt and James were professional, polite, and answered all the questions I had. They were very courteous and made absolutely no mess, taking care to ensure all the holes were filled properly after installation.
