Is it right that I have to pay for a free test without an agreement and without the option to cancel my subscription?

Great interface. Results locked. Charged anyway

On September 14, 2025 I downloaded Impulse and took what was advertised as a “free IQ test.” I completed ~60 questions over ~12 minutes. Immediately after, I was shown a “your results are ready - subscribe” screen, and 15 minutes later I noticed a $42 charge on my credit card. I emailed support and waited two weeks - no reply. I tried to cancel via the app, but the menu led me in circles. Eventually I disputed the charge through my bank. Never got full feedback or justification. Very poor experience.
