This is incredible. it's exactly what I needed. I have a 23 C8 corvette and looked for all types of solutions. this was the only one that makes it hard for rodents to eat my wiring harness and protects the car from all elements. I had a car cover but that was a pain taking off and on and it was water resistant not waterproof so it didn't really keep that car clean. this is the ultimate solution . Delivery was quick set up was a snap.

Very pleased indeed with the level of service given by in the Garage.
The quality of the product is second to none and you can see that a lot of time and effort has gone into giving customers a solution to the problem of if its not possible to biuld a more conventional garage for whatever reason.
What more can I say ,easy to set up,total protection for you pride and joy and with such a high lever of biuld quality I'm sure my ultimate outdoor car shield will last for many years to come.

Great Product!! Filippo was the selling point, Great Guy!!

I gave this company a one star for the product as I could not inflate the product. However, they were very quick to come back to me and help with the product. The product is excellent and the Customer Service is excellent, but I still feel the assembly instructions need to be improved. As a result, I can only give a 4-star review instead of a 5-star review.

Whilst the company were very quick to deal with and despatch the order, I’m not really that impressed with the car bubble at all. I purchased the 18ft outdoor version back in October/November, and Have had the car in winter storage since then. Over the last weekend I dug the car out to get it ready for it’s Spring MOT and when I pulled the cover back I was horrified to see puddles around the tyres, masses of condensation on the roof and mould EVERYWHERE inside the car (yes, I did have the windows open). There’s also bubbles formed under some of the paint and rust on some of the outer metal parts which I know weren’t there before it went in….

Whilst this part is my fault, when I removed and unzipped the cover, I slightly dragged it over the rear spoiler (as it’s so heavy) and it’s rubbed the paint off and gone through to the plastic primer underneath. I’ve never had such issues with a normal soft cover.

Overall not very happy at all with it as keeping it under a cover (which I have done for years) has been better for it. Kind of a waste of money IMO and wish I hadn’t bothered as I don’t think it’s fit for purpose…

Yup, totally agree with needing 2 people to unwrap the car. It’s just a shame I didn’t know that before purchasing… my bad

In regards to keeping temps stable, it’s pretty hard when you have 2 fans pulling in all that cold/wet air. The problem is it doesn’t dry out after the weather has changed. With a normal breathable cover, at least it dries out when outside temps change. I did unzip the front end by around 2-3 inches every so often (to copy the carcoon flap they have) and it just didn’t make any difference. It just seems to me once water is in, it can’t get out. I also have a rear indicator LED cluster go down, as it’s full of condensation and so are the headlights which it’s never done before. Basically, it’s going to cost me a lot of money to put right and the ‘bubbles’ do more damage than good and are not fit for purpose….

Quick delivery and very helpful setting up

Responsive to my query, good delivery communication. The delivery took a couple of weeks which was a bit longer than I wanted. The garage I ordered was too large and swapping it for the next size down went very smoothly, Fillipo was very helpful and the transaction was not a problem. I found this impressive. The product was easy to put up and seems to be working well. It is a single-skin cover but seems to be tough. It only takes a few minutes to take down/put up and is easier than I expected. The fan noise is louder than I expected but not a problem. I needed an extension lead for the power cable but I managed to place all of the connections inside the garage and have a single cable pop out of the garage and straight to my power source.

Excellent product that does the job well. The instructions are very poor, and the online video doesn’t provide the detail missing from the instructions.
Product design could be improved: the filters are a huge struggle to fit, not helped by having to fiddle about under the protective cover which is also close to the floor. I had to lie on my back to fit them.
Also the fans are very noisy. As a computer engineer I know that larger diameter fans with finer pitch can move the same volume of air with much less noise.

The product seems very good, I had it inflated and working with the car in it in 10 mins including unpacking the box. As a vendor the company delivered when they said they would and kept order updates coming during the lead time. The product was described well and fit my car well as I selected it from the sizes on InTheGarage's website.

I really like this company & products. I have an indoor car cover & an outside inflatable garage. Both are of extremely high quality.
Also they always deliver when stated.

I purchased a Carshield 4 months ago. I have some issues; the fans sound like a jet engine when running, the are EXTREMELY loud, something to think about if you have neighbours.
Depending on the weather, the car is always somewhat damp inside the shield, a lot of condensation builds up on the walls and ceiling from the incoming air & drips onto the car. The entire car and undercarriage has been damp to touch. On a few occasions large pools of water have collected on the floor. This storage system is a good option if you dont have a garage, and obviously better than outside storage, but my experience is it won't keep your car dry, as I see stated in other reviews.

Misled on lead time.
No communication since my order 3 weeks ago

I bought the outdoor car shield (16 foot) for my MK1 MX5. Excellent customer service, with quick helpful replies to queries, delivery within a week, and a very robust product that so far is standing up well to the harsh Scottish winter (including snow- that causes the tent to collapse and required sweeping off to re-inflate). Car remains dry and protected. I had considered a carcoon but was waiting for delivery from Demon Tweeks for over a year (due to supplier issues) and wish I had bought this alternative excellent product earlier (and protected my car last winter as well). I have had the cover for about 6 weeks now and so far am very impressed with it.
I was fine with the setup process but feel the instructions could be improved upon for the less technically savvy. The running costs stated on the website (recalculated using current extortionate electricity costs) seem to underestimate the cost of running my outdoor car shield (are these based on a single fan model?) and it is costing me around £14 per month) but I still think this is very good value for money when the cost of either hiring a garage or rust repairs is taken into account.
Overall an excellent product that I would highly recommend.

Filippo was great to work with. Product was shipped quickly. Great communication. Small issue with a hose getting crushed during shipping. Filippo immediately located a replacement and sent it out. Product itself is high quality and I would highly recommend!!

I originally looked at Carcoon's but after looking at the recent comments regarding delivery and customer service, I looked at In the Garage instead.

I ordered the 14', and while the payment was accepted, I was later told that they didn't have any 14' in stock. Filippo then offered me the larger 16' at no extra cost.

The Outdoor Car Shield arrived just a week later and was set up in just under half an hour. My VX220 has been tucked away for just over a month through the wettest, frostiest and windiest of nights and the car is bone dry.
