Located in Salt Lake City. Went one year and only got one match within the requirements. Asked for a refund and they only credited back a few hundred dollars. I would suggest not using the company.

4 hour drive to her home nirth east if Orlando. Took a long time to set up first date from Thanksgiving holiday sign up. Personality was compatible however

The company doesn’t have as many clients as they claim and they force you to date someone much older than you. If you are not attracted to the person and their profile it shouldn’t count as one of your dates. Also I knew the guy on my first date. That should not count either. I requested 5 years younger or older but only one of my dates was my age. All the rest were 8 - 9 years older. If you decline then it counts against one of your dates. It would be better if they presented a few people with their bios so we could pick ourselves which people we would like to date. Also I’d rather talk to the person on the phone before I met them to see if their personality matches mine. Most of the men were boring and not very active which is a waste of my time. Plus I do not like IJL picking out the venue. The man I recently met plans on moving to Hawaii. Why would I want to get involved with someone not planning on staying where I live. Then I was approached by a senior IJL matchmaker which wanted more $ from me to have the opportunity for higher caliber men. I thought that’s I was paying for to start with. So far I have been very disappointed and would not recommend this service to anyone I know.

I just had my first date and it was such a great experience. My date was very handsome and he was such a gentleman. We had so much to talk about! The company, the conversation and the lunch…my experience could not have been better! Being recently separated, the thought of dating stressed me out! The consultants at IJL were very positive and supportive. Ladies, do yourselves a favor and ditch the dating apps! Give this a try!

I was very disappointed overall in my experience with this service. Regretting spending the money on every single date. Ladies you can do better elsewhere.

This is a scam. It cost me $5k and I have received only unattractive leads. They are so unattractive I can't even look at them. They are 2's and 3's. They won't refund the money or even a portion. Don't do it. SCAM.

IJL is friendly and professional. They do try to provide good customer service. Of the few dates that I have had with them in the past 12 months, all have been in nice locations with nice, gentlemen. The problem for me is that none have met the criteria that I set when I first started, neither were the gentlemen current paying clients with IJL. Therefore, the motivations, etc., were not aligned. They were nice dates with no chance of going anywhere close to what I believed I was going to get for the $1,000s I paid; namely, someone interested in a relationship with me after seeing my picture and profile info and hearing from my matchmaker about me. Not one of them saw my pic first because not one was a paying client. I do not know if there were not any in my area or if none of the paying clients wanted to meet me but it seems at least for the Detroit area IJL had slim pickings to choose from for me but took my money as if they had a decent roster. So if I had to do it again, I would not pay $1000s for the service (only $100s) because it is frustrating for me and my demographic but I would say that the service provider seems to be doing the best it can with whatever limitations it has. My frustration is not communicating with me the true limitations still. I get the sense that they will fake it until they make it with my case. Now, with all that said, I recently received a new matchmaker and went on a new date. They both have been a lot closer to what was expected when I joined. So I have gone from frustrated to hopeful again. Looking forward to the next with great expectation. Thanks for letting me share.

With my most recent matchmaker, my experience has improved quite a bit. She has taken the time to get to know me and has proactively made some good suggestions for me.

Jaiye listened to my preferences and picked someone that checked quite a few of them.

I’ve had several ‘dates’ through IJL. I’ve learned that it’s very helpful to have good straight forward discussions with your matchmaker. This enables them to find a good match for you sooner. In my case, ‘3rd time is the charm’ worked for me. I was matched with my dream partner! If it works out, FANNNTASTIC! If it doesn’t that’s OK because I feel young again, and I’m confident that IJL will be able to find someone who really matches my criteria.

The experience was overall positive. Communication was very good. There was one area I don’t recall being clarified prior to the date. This was who pays for the date. In the future it may help to clarify with both parties in advance.

Giscard went above and beyond my expectations with finding me a compatible match. He is attentive and seems to really care about the job he does. He listens to your needs and expectations. Although the date didn’t go in the direction I hoped it would ,Giscard was absolutely on point. I think moving forward we will be very successful. He is a true professional.

I would say 4 1/2 to 5 stars. In the superficial world of online dating and trying to meet the right person, It's Just Lunch does the match and vetting process for you. Serious individuals who are for looking for a serious commitment is why I joined. As an adult with a busy life, time is valuable and so is finding the right person. IJL understands this and works to accomplish the end goal of finding the right one for you!
