A més, l’estat del pis és deficient: moqueta cremada, aixeta de la dutxa trencada i manca d’equipament bàsic (tovalloles, cadires, tasses i culleretes per a tots els hostes).

Per acabar-ho d’agreujar, ens han cobrat injustament 144,35 GBP per una cadira que ja estava trencada. Tampoc ofereixen servei de guarda d’equipatge. En conjunt, una experiència molt negativa marcada per mala gestió, falta de manteniment i pràctiques poc transparents. No el recomanem en absolut.

Do not stay here.

If zero stars were possible, that’s exactly what this place would get.

We stayed at The Heim in Manchester (Urbano Apartment) for two nights and it was easily one of the worst accommodation experiences I’ve ever had.

Before arrival, we simply asked if we could check in 30 minutes early and were immediately sent a price list for early check-in fees — for half an hour. Even after our train was delayed and we arrived just 15 minutes early, we were still made to wait outside until exactly 3pm. Hospitality clearly isn’t a priority here.

When we finally entered the apartment, we were greeted by a strong, unpleasant smell despite it supposedly being “cleaned”. We had to open all the windows just to make the place bearable.

It only got worse from there. We quickly discovered there was no hot water at all. This was at 3pm, so we assumed it would be a minor issue that would be fixed by the time we returned later that evening. It wasn’t. After chasing the hosts multiple times, we got no response because it was after their 8pm cut-off. For the entire stay the water fluctuated between freezing cold and barely room temperature — completely unacceptable when you’re paying to stay somewhere.

Even worse, the hosts were aware of the issue yet still left for the day without resolving it. We essentially paid for two nights in an apartment that couldn’t even provide basic facilities.

When we raised the issue, we were offered a laughable £20 refund. To top it off, they then tried to hold our deposit hostage over a supposed “stain” on the carpet — despite us already paying a cleaning fee.

Smelly apartment, no hot water, terrible communication and petty attempts to charge guests extra. This place is an absolute joke.
Avoid at all costs.

Really disappointed, smells of sewage

Really disappointed with our stay at The Heim (Depot). Spent a lot of money for a 4 night stay over Christmas to be with our son. There was an awful smell of sewage from the lower floor, maintenance advised they knew about this but nothing they could do, it was awful. General cleanliness and maintenance was poor, kitchen was much cleaner by the time I left than when I arrived. Stairs are very steep and slippery, kitchen utensils poorly stocked I.e. no kettle, 2 forks despite it sleeping 12! No drinking glasses other than wine flutes, cupboards do not shut, window latch broken meaning you could push the window open from the outside, blinds were transparent meaning you could see into the kitchen/ dining area from the very busy road. Poor WiFi, couldn’t stream channels, no hdmi or power cable for the sky box. Bedding was not ironed and ill-fitting. Shower leaked as no seal meaning the floor was soaked and dangerous, bath plug not sealed so wouldn’t hold the water either.
Was so so disappointing, pictures look great but they certain hide the poor aspects. Have tried to communicate for a refund but has not been forthcoming. Complaining isn’t something I normally do, but on this occasion I had no choice and will be taking further action.

What an amazing stay

What an amazing stay, nothing was too much trouble for the hosts whilst staying in the City for a conference.

The apartment is very smart in a perfect location to discover Manchester City Centre on foot.

I will be back for leisure next time, for sure.

I would have given a 5 even with some…

I would have given a 5 even with some issues.
However I was informed they were keeping £30 of the £250 deposit for cleaning a cream sofa because of a mark! ( One of the things I was sceptical of initially as I am used to leaving credit card details but not actual money) Also sceptical that you can leave a non refundable £40 deposit which given I have never had any reason to pay for damages wherever I have stayed.
I had to buy own cleaning sponge and tea towel plus dishwasher tablets because none were provided and we were there for two nights so needed to clean. We stripped the beds, left the flat beautifully tidy so I am obviously really annoyed. I will try to get my money back but not easy when they have taken it.
I have honestly never written a review like this and with the above concerns had I received my full deposit back I would have stayed again but definitely not now.

Responses were really prompt and helpful, the flat was beautiful and clean, location really central as well. It was a great time staying with The Heim! Would book with them again :)

Do not stay at The Heim

Do not stay at The Heim. My partner and I stayed here, took care of the property, and left it exactly as we found it. Despite this, we were later hit with a bill of over £1,000 for damage that was clearly not caused by us, but rather after our departure—likely by the cleaner or host. This charge was unfairly and dishonestly blamed on us. It feels like an attempt to extort money rather than genuine hosting. Save yourself the stress and disappointment—book elsewhere.

From the moment we got our instructions…

From the moment we got our instructions they were so straightforward and easy to guide from their, the apartment was beautiful nothing was un answered and the comfort we felt was so amazing , we were really nervous as we came from Edinburgh and hoped for the best but this blew our minds how lovely the company is and the comfort of the apartment and how spacious it is too.
I had a few questions and Theresa phoned me straight away and made it so simple and easy to understand such a lovely environment and lovely support.
Everything was spotless and the cleaners take alot of time and effort to make sure it’s up to the highest standards!
Really really recommend!

£160 a night for broken TV, hidden fees, and a £14 towel — what a joke.

If I could give 0 stars, I would — and that still feels generous.
We stayed at The Heim in Manchester (Noir apartment) for 2 nights, paying £160 a night for what can only be described as a masterclass in disappointment.

From the moment we arrived, it was a game of “how many times can we chase them up before they actually respond?” Spoiler: a lot. The Sky Glass TV didn’t work the entire time, and because Sky Glass won’t let you plug in your own devices, we had the privilege of paying for two nights of staring at the wall.

When we complained, we were graciously offered a 20% refund… which of course didn’t apply to the mysterious £91 “cleaning fee” for two nights. But wait, it gets better — they’re now holding our deposit hostage over a microscopic “stain” on a towel. I’ve seen bigger marks from a splash of tap water, but apparently this warrants a £14 “replacement.”

Luxury? Relaxation? Not even close. More like overpriced stress with a side of petty charges. This company is an absolute joke — unless you enjoy overpaying for broken amenities and arguing over towels, go literally anywhere else.

We stayed at “The Hive” all I can say…

We stayed at “The Hive” all I can say is…book somewhere else. This apartment was filthy in areas, filthy marks all over the carpets, some sort of spillage in the bathroom draw that had not been cleaned, dishes in the dishwasher that had not been cleaned, and dirty bedding, all of this along with “Sky Tv” that didn’t work the entire stay even though we contacted customer service EVERY DAY! We received no help whatsoever, probably the worst stay I’ve ever had.

My experience was great and the…

I had a great experience staying with The Heim Residences. The apartment was clean, well-equipped, and in a fantastic location. What made the stay truly exceptional was the outstanding customer service. Both Theresa and Kevin were incredibly supportive and responsive throughout my stay — their help made everything smooth and stress-free.

We were very pleased with the…

We were very pleased with the accommodation and it's central location. An added benefit was that several fans were provided as standard which help with the extremely hot and humid weather that we have recently had. The apartment was very clean and had all the essentials necessary. Just one point that we couldn't seem to tune the tv into freeview channels. Possibly something that we were doing wrong?
