A big thank you to Dan and Olivia for all their help with my sale and purchase. We had a lot of issues due to the rest of the chain and their solicitors but they managed to get it through on time and without their hard work it would not have happened. They kept me fully updated and nothing was too much for them to do. You are both a credit to your department. I would not hesitate to use Jackson Lees again.

Disappointed is an understatement. After being recommended Jackson Lees for conveyancing on the purchase of my first home and reading the reviews on this site, I was surprised to find the solicitor that manager my ‘case’ to be vague, rude and incompetent.

Sloppy emails that I was often unable to read or understand. Never, literally never, contactable one the phone (this was especially frustrating as her assistant I was dealing with had never done conveyancing before).

I was asked to print out all the contracts etc on their behalf before singing them and returning them - with no guidance initially.

Missing paperwork I had completed had to be ready-sent’,

But the worst part, was that nearing completion- I was asked for more evidence regarding my purchase. This was clearly an oversight on their part, risked the entire transaction and caused me massive stress due to the extra delay it put on the property purchase. This evidence, had it been required, should have been asked for BEFORE my contracts were signed, let alone after the vendor and I had discussed dates. I am still waiting for a reply to my email apologising for this - I won’t hold my breath.

You couldn’t pay me to use this solicitors again and I certainly wouldn’t recommend them - unless perhaps you dealt with someone other than Gemma Lea and Connor Simpson!

Selling During Lockdown!!

Selling a house is stressful enough, but to had a little more stress I was selling during the height of Lockdown.
I had the wonderful Susie Lennard take on my case, on top of her many other cases, everything was dealt with efficiently and professionally with a lovely personal touch. I will definitely be using Jackson Lees and especially Susie in the future and recommend her and Jackson Lees for all your conveyancing needs.
