Visited here in early September. Ordered a chicken and mushroom pie and chips and caught ebola. The doctor said it was definitely the pie and added that I have a matter of weeks to live. The fat hog serving should be ashamed of herself.

Was hoping the fish was as battered as the owner. Left very dissapointed.

Owner rude her shop stinks and is dirty with cockroaches on floor , flys landing on uncovered food. She acts like mandy from this country and when I asked for a refund because of how dirty shop was she threw a can of irn bru across the shop and threatened to black my eye. She then tried to tell me about the NWO and dallas headquarters not only is she a thug she treats her customers like dirt , heard her telling another customer to suck her vag lips if they want scampi !!!!!! Avoid at all costs

Was visiting Scotland and we wanted to try some fish and chips so we stopped by here, the service was disgusting we were served by the owner who could do with a good bath or shower the smell of body odour was awful, the food tastes like someone had wiped their backside on it and the chips were soggy, best to avoid this dump and find somewhere more appealing

When I discovered that the tatar sauce was made with Jaki's whipped quim juice and the vinegar bottles filled with old tramp pish, I made my excuses and left.

Never going to this place again! Avoid at all costs!

Absolute sh**hole. Asked how fresh the fish was, she put her hand down her pants and said “smell my fingers, as fresh as this”. I left immediately.

Whilst on holiday in the Highlands, we decided to treat ourselves to a chippy tea. We came across Jaki. I went in and ordered, and waited, and waited, and waited. I did ask how much longer I would have to wait, at this point I had been waiting for over 25 minutes. The owner, Jaki, was very rude and quite snotty, and claimed that the best fish and chips couldn't be rushed, and as I was obviously not well versed in fish and chips, I obviously didn't understand. She was very patronising, if I hadn't already paid upon ordering I would have walked out.
The food was finally ready, so I took them to the car and we parked up a short distance away to enjoy them. The first things we noticed was the smell, they smelt nothing like fish and chips from a chippy, and the colour. The batter and chips was a strange yellow colour, unlike anything we had seen before. We started to eat, had a few mouthfuls and threw them in the bin. Without doubt the worst fish and chips we had ever had, also the most expensive we have ever bought too at over £20.
In summary, we would never visit Jaki ever again, we would recommend anyone interested in eating good fish and chips to continue past jaki, you certainly won't get great food here. And Jaki is the most obnoxious person I have very spent money with, she really needs to learn how to run a chippy, and how to speak to customers(the people who keep her in business).

Blimey, chip shop owner performing a kamikaze act live on facebook, what an awful piece of crap well if you go back to the princes trust for money to repair the broken window you might be out of luck. Probably time to move abroad North Korea looks good.

Do not give your money to this business, the owner is an absolute disgrace. Hopefully it won't be long until she's out of business.

Some of these reviews are quite frankly LAUGHABLE!! 5 stars for having the bollards to speak freely!!!!! Bet half these uncalled for "reviews" have never even visited Scotland, let alone this chippy!!!! You WILL come back from all of this unnecessary negativity!!

She was the Pride of Britain respected all over.
From the Great wall of China to the White Cliffs of Dover.
Personally I'm proud oh her, she helped make Britain great.
It's a shame that some people only have hate.
