Avi is an amazing teacher and really cares about his students i highly recommend him the ethics behind his teaching is fantastic and is always happy to help

My son has been tutored by Avi for the last two years, and the difference has been incredible. The work they have done together in Religious Studies has not only helped him in the subject, but has also given him a real confidence in himself academically. He now understands much better how to revise, how to structure his answers, and how to approach GCSE-style questions.

Our son completed the RS course with the incredible Avi who goes way beyond teaching the content face-to-face - he teaches students how to approach and structure essays which will be so helpful for other GCSE subjects too.
Our son was sending Avi a tonne of practice papers and essays for marking in the run up to the exams, and Avi was always prompt to return it with feedback which was both encouraging and constructive. Subsequently we saw a consistent improvement in our son’s confidence and results.

I couldn’t recommend Avi highly enough. The attention and care he has shown towards my son’s learning is outstanding. He structures the course in such a fashion that they learn at a pace that’s slow and builds term by term. This results in a feeling of confidence towards the end. Avi is always on hand to offer additional support and advice. He goes above and beyond. Additionally the way Avi advises on essay structure and question answering ensures that knowledge is formulated in the best way possible.

Avi has been exceptional for my son. With only 3 lessons he taught him the skill of writing answers to bring his grades up. We can’t recommend him enough!

We have now used Avi of James Howard Education for two of our daughters who both took Religious Studies GCSE outside of school and on both occasions have been so impressed with his teaching and the sheer dedication to his students. Avi was such a great teacher throughout the course. He was always available, extremely responsive to any questions from student or parent and provided a really modern and accessible experience. My son loved learning with Avi and I was super impressed as a parent. I would highly recommend his RS course. It's also very sociable for the kids and Avi makes it fun but instructive.

As a parent, I honestly couldn’t recommend Avi highly enough. He has been an amazing GCSE tutor for my daughter — not only teaching exactly what was needed for the exams, but genuinely inspiring confidence and enjoyment in the subject along the way. As the year progressed, he really fine-tuned exam technique, style and approach, which led to clear improvements in both her confidence and grades. Avi taught Religious Education GCSE to all three of my children, and I cannot recommend him highly enough. He is incredibly patient, gives clear instructions, and provides excellent structure in line with the mark scheme, which really helped them understand exactly what was expected. Throughout the course, all three of my children grew in confidence and developed a much stronger understanding of how to do exams.
