My mum bought an iPad 10th generation. Since they reset it for education needs, the school has owns it and I need to use an MDM bypass tool just to use it properly. Privacy is a thing though. Even during the summer holidays when I fully reset it and bypass the MDM profile enrollment, the school still owns it.
I don't understand why schools have to be so restrictive in us students' lives. My mother ended up wasting 400€ for a tool we can't even use, all thanks to this software. No sideloading, no private data since the school can monitor it, no Apple Pay. Rubbish.

Since our company started working with that joke of a company my mac has been slow as hell and worst of all even if I was connected to the internet I couldn't access it and was getting a proxy issue
Unwanted emails even unsubscribe didn't work... and i have never used their services
if you want to restrict, that’s fine. but i seriously don’t see the reason to lock the devise at night. games are already blocked so the only thing else that it’s restricting is me doing my work. students already only have a short time frame to do work and now they can’t even do it at night. it is also too restrictive, the only thing that the ipad can do at this point is to write notes, completely defeating the purpose of spending so much on an ipad. i understand the need to restrict games but at least get rid of the locking of the devise at night, i can’t do work during the only time that i have. please improve within this year especially for this new batch of secondary 4 students.
This terrible system has ruined my school and my device it should be deleted immediately and here’s why:
1. What’s the point? What is the purpose ‘to manage a deViCe’ how would you feel if that you were restricted from doing what you want for no reason doing part of your day to day activities you would feel awful exactly

I have no experience of this company's software. What I know is that it employs, or did employ, a person I worked with at another company who is a psychopath who will stop at nothing to damage other people's lives with a relentless stream of malicious victimisation.
I reported this person's previous misconduct to Jamf, but received no response. I sincerely hope the person has not behaved the same way at Jamf, but as they have always defended their behaviour to the hilt, I can only assume that all Jamf staff and customers are at risk of a repetition of abuses which no one should ever suffer.
This company cannot be trusted to do its job without wilfully damaging the lives of those who engage with it if it employs this person (name on request) and the person still insists they are entitled to behave as they once did. There are other providers out there you can deal with without such risk, so do that.
I am being charged 25 to 28 pound per moth, no idea what for.
Hard to reach, still no idea what this company does and how I have been charged for moths for what.
This is a truely poor tool. The company I work at had an issue with it (as usual!) which meant every Mac user was spending over an hour a day having to re-register. The total costs in lost productivity must be mind boggling.
It is now nealy two weeks since this started happening and our Admin says he is STILL waiting for a response from JAMF.
We have pleaded with Corporate to get rid of this rubbish but at the moment stuck with it. :-(
Genuinely awful support experience for our company I don't know how this company retains clients. The 2 star rating is only because there is one or two support experience's I have had worse than this. I would just go for another tool if this wasn't already half deployed.
The enterprise version of this MDM is top notch. Support is decent enough, though I wish there was more training material so that one could self teach the ins and outs of the product.
No idea what the software is like - I have had no commercial dealings with Jamf - but they continue to send me Spam despite multiple unsubscribe requests. Would you trust a company that can't even manage a mailing list?
This product is buggy at the best of times. A buggy product where purchasing support is pushed. I have been unable to login since 10pm Saturday, its now 15:40 Sunday. Support ticket logged - no reply, so called support, left a voicemail, no reply. Contacted via Facebook message, Twitter message, raised on Jamf Nation. Maintenance team emailed. Nothing. I've spent about £10,000 rolling this product out - I think I should have had a reply by now or the problem fixed. Their website states no outage, but can see other users having the same issue. Sure I'll be contacted about purchasing support, even though the website is down.
Wonder if there will be an apology or offer of a credit for being unable to access the management portal for 16hours.
Excellent product, but jamf pro forgot to renew the internal code signing certificate that signs mdm profiles and we had to do manual work on 2000 clients. Otherwise its a 5 out of 5 star product. And a 4 our of 5 star support. But when it comes to huge severe bugs they are a 1 out of 5 star organisation. This is horrible guys!
