A very smart gym, fully kitted out with state of the art equipment. The Manager Emma was so helpful, accommodating and made us feel so welcome 😁. Overall, a great fitness platform.

JD recently brought out Simply Gym
JD recently brought out Simply Gym, so they transferred my membership to them. When I visited today (a week after opening as I had been away on work), I not only struggled to get in the building as the QR code entry system did not work for me, and I was unable to get staffs attention. When I got in, I saw that they had removed the Ladies only section, and many of the weights that I used to use were no longer there. Whilst I did go at peak time, I felt the level of service I received, and the change in equipment is pushing me towards cancelling my membership. I would be willing to try out the remaining two JD gyms in Swansea, as I was given JD+ access due to sticking with my membership, but I have not been given instructions on how to do this as it seems to be across two separate accounts. Additionally, my mother who had recently moved to the area tried contacting the branch that I went to regularly before the rebrand earlier in the day about potentially getting a membership, but was unable to get through. On contacting Parc Tawe she was given information that appears to be incorrect about being able to bring a friend for free on the weekend. Apparently we would be able to see this offer online and it applied to all JDs but I have not seen anything of the sort
Overall quite disappointed and I am now looking at my options of going elsewhere
