Mr Fynn was an integral part of my success in my GCSEs. He tutored me in science and elavated my grades 3s & 4s to grade 7s so I am very grateful. He was firm, patient, nice and helpful which added to the community of students and teachers that was fun and supportive- a great atmosphere for learning. He gave me resources to use that still aligned with the curriculum at my school. His attitude to my success encouraged me to take my education regarding science more seriously and be determined with it even when I was learning & revising alone!

At the start of year 12 I was averaging Cs in my topic tests and mocks for Biology and Chemistry which was concerning as I had ambitions of getting into medical school.

I began tuition with Mr Fynn for both subjects and through weekly lessons and targeted practice, I saw improvement not only in my grades but also in my confidence when approaching new and challenging topics.

Mr Fynn was incredibly patient and always made sure I had a thorough understanding of each topic before moving on to exam questions. He used a variety of teaching methods including helpful analogies, videos, PowerPoints and detailed explanations which made the harder concepts easier to understand.

He also provided an extensive range of question banks covering all exam boards so I could fully understand the content and regularly created tailored mock tests based on the areas I found most challenging. This allowed me focus my revision on areas I was struggling with and become much more confident with the specific mark schemes of A-Level subjects.

I am extremely grateful to have chosen Mr Fynn as my tutor. With his support and guidance I was able to achieve the grades I needed and secure my place at Norwich Medical School !!
