⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding care and kindness from Dawn

I just want to say a massive thank you to Dawn, who has been covering at Selby Jolly’s but is usually based at Harrogate Jolly’s.

I came in last Saturday absolutely beside myself with worry about my little ginger boy, thinking he was constipated. Dawn took so much time to help me, calm me down, and explain things clearly. She gave me really good advice and reassured me, but also made it clear that if things didn’t improve I should get him to the vets straight away. Her care, patience, and attention meant more than I can put into words.

She was so lovely and approachable, and she truly understood how much my animals mean to me. She even asked me to phone and update her on how my cat was doing.

Sadly, within 48 hours he took a turn for the worse and had to be rushed to the emergency vets, where we found out he had a bladder blockage and needed emergency surgery. Thankfully, he is now absolutely fine.

I phoned Dawn on the Thursday to update her, and she was genuinely relieved and so pleased that I had called. She even went on to give me more advice about what food to feed him to help prevent it happening again. When I asked when she was next in and if she could recommend the best urinary dry foods, she immediately said yes, absolutely.

I bought Dawn some flowers and chocolates to say thank you, but even that doesn’t feel like enough. She is an absolute credit to Jolly’s going above and beyond for her customers with genuine care and compassion. People like Dawn make such a difference.

Selby store is fantastic, always clean tidy and well stocked. Staff are all friendly and helpful, nothing too much trouble for them. Always made to feel welcome including our cocker spaniel even though he gets super excited and helps himself to the boxes and occasionally pees on the floor!!

Came in to the store very stressed after vets appointment. Staff were all really friendly and helpful. Their helpful advice on puppy food helped me feel reassured. The staff are very knowledgeable and obviously care about animals.

Needed advice about cat food suitable for urinary problems
One new staff member didn’t know but went to get staff member to help. Checked on their iPad and gave advice from there

I look at prices displayed and didn't realise tax was added at the till
The till didn't work wouldn't accept my voucher
I'm 65 I had 2 14kg bags of dog food and no help was offered with these I had to make trips to van separately

Jolleys at Selby is a pleasure to visit. Excellent store layout, stock availability and very helpful and patient staff.
