Joltmile is a UK-built mileage and earnings tracker made specifically for gig economy drivers, whether you're on Amazon Flex, Uber, Deliveroo or juggling several platforms at once. Most mileage apps are generic. Joltmile isn't. It's built around how UK gig work actually gets taxed, using HMRC's official Approved Mileage Allowance Payments (AMAP) rates to calculate your deductible mileage automatically, and factoring in UK tax bands, Class 4 National Insurance and the personal allowance taper so you get a realistic picture of what you'll actually owe, not just what you've earned. Every shift you log captures your mileage, earnings and expenses in one place, with clear separation between business, commuting and personal trips, because HMRC treats these differently and getting it wrong can be costly. Joltmile is built with that distinction from the ground up. Beyond tracking, Joltmile gives you a live view of your true take-home pay after tax and National Insurance, not just gross earnings, so you can plan ahead rather than get caught out at Self Assessment time. Joltmile is currently in beta and growing fast, with a free web platform and apps available on both iOS and Android.
