From 1st April, our service charge for grounds maintenance delivered by Just Ask will be:

Just Ask - 'Contracted Works':  28,188.65
Just Ask - 'Responsive Works':   6,224.44
TOTAL: £34,413.09

When they feel like it, they turn up for a couple of hours once a fortnight and faff around pretending to be gardeners. For this pleasure, we're charged £1,323.58 per visit. And if that's not bad enough, the real insult is that we still get charged this amount - EVEN WHEN THEY DON'T TURN UP - OR IF THEY TURN UP BUT DON'T DO ANYTHING!

Just Ask's profits for year ending 31/03/2022 AFTER TAX were £1,528,760 - an increase on the previous year's profits of £784,637

Everything everyone has said about Just Ask in these posts is 100% true and accurate. DO NOT use this cowboy company who knowledge about cleaning and gardening is highly dubious - but who clearly know an awful lot about ripping people off and profiteering. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!!!

ITS A SCAM.

I was in a medical emergency and I was taken advantage of.

I needed to ask a Dr one question and it was late at night, I saw this add where you pay £5.00 to ask a question which I did.
The Dr was dumb, didn’t really know what he was talking about, stressed me out even more so that £5.00 went to waste.

A few days later I see another charge of £38.00, when I spoke to customer service Jonathan he said I signed up to a membership which I did not.

I disputed the charge and they refused to refund me saying i definitely signed up and agreed to pay £38.00 when I swear to God I didn’t.

It’s a scam, don’t fall for it
They’ll take your money
And won’t even help you.

BE AWARE that they charge £30 a month if you do not cancel your membership within a week.
You might get the answer you are looking for. In my case, I got some very ambiguous information from 'an expert'. To add insult to injury, I was unclear as to the T&Cs so consequently got stung by the monthly subscription! With hindsight, I would not have used JustAnswer and certainly will never use them again!

Terrible service, no committment or standards whatsoever. They didnt even show up for all of january and when we complained they eventually turned up, did a poor job of cleaning the communal hallway then ticked a whole month of visits on the attendance chart in one day? Supposed to do a deep clean of carpets and left big white stains everywhere - its now worse than before?

TERRIBLE!!! Clarion use them and we pay for a nonexistent service!!! Absolutely useless!! I'm guessing someone in Clarion got a back hander!!!!!!

Keep complaining and complaining and they did a walk around the other week - zero improvement

Tenants pay service charge to have their windows cleaned. Soha gave the contract to Just Ask who have not fulfilled the contract. All windows should be cleaned outside every 6 weeks. They were cleaned poorly in November 2021 slightly better in March 2022 and today July 1st they arrived and did not even clean communal windows and left. When I phoned there was no access to the actual contract just someone writing down my complaint. They should have handed the contract back. Paid compensation aswell
Fast forward to 2025. Soha now use In Touch they have just completed 10 consecutive 6 week cleans on the right day and we'll done. Thank you to Soha for finding In Touch

If you're looking for a rude, belligerent and aggressive cleaning company this is the one for you

We’ve been having doubts in our block for some time that the cleaning was being done but between us in the last few months, we’ve caught the cleaners coming in and signing the task sheet without doing a single bit of cleaning.
I’m very disappointed with this fraudulent behaviour and the HA for our block need to get rid of these people as they clearly have no morals.
I’ve started to do the cleaning myself now due to the current pandemic which hopefully may protect the more vulnerable residents. I really can’t believe that in this current situation this company behaves like this.
