5 months on from our first session with k9control , we’ve just been on the best pack walk ever! Through the belief and confidence that Rob has in us we completed the 2 hour walk without so much as a grumble from our boy. 20 dogs all on a training walk. Some dogs were vocal , some dogs had grumbles but Stan remained focused on me and he was 100% perfect. The support that we’ve received from the team has been nothing short of amazing and what Rob doesn’t know about dogs isn’t worth knowing ( although I don’t think there’s anything he doesn’t know haha! )
If you are struggling with reactivity or aggression I cannot recommend Rob highly enough. He’s literally changed our lives.

Rob and the team are amazing and I can't recommend them highly enough. We'd worked with and spoken to many other local trainers and gotten nowhere. K9 are a little further afield from Thatcham but well worth it. 3x sessions with Rob and our cockapoo is behaving much better on the lead and we are making great progress on his rage and resource guarding issues.

The team at K9 Control are fantastic for all things dog related. We have used other trainers and behaviourists in the past and I can honestly say none of them come close. Not only have we made amazing progress with our reactive dog but the community that K9 Control have created is amazing.

Rob is absolutely incredible!!!! I had a 1:1 with my border terrier Norman who is reactive and full of all the shouty swear words. Rob is extremely honest and knows exactly what the dog needs. He is also very supportive to owners, he has made me more confident and I now look forward to walking Norman. The change in just one session was astounding, I actually cried. Norman is now becoming a joy to walk.

We needed someone who had experience training challenging dogs for our over-excited domestic labradoodle: our pet was causing a lot of stress and was set to be stuck on a lead for the rest of his life, because 2 years of reward-only training was not enough to manage his running off (prey drive) and desperate scavenging eating.
Rob quickly understood our dog's issues and helped us to use a corrective e-collar sensitively after it had been recommended by an owner of another challenging dog. Rob has excellent facilities, both indoor and outdoor and has quickly helped make a life-changing difference to our dog and our family.
His recommendation to switch to a raw meat diet has also had a significant positive impact.

Rob at K9 control has changed our lives.
Our dog was good indoors and great with people but taking him out was a nightmare. If he saw another dog within 500 yards all hell would break loose! Taking him out was a chore and we couldn’t wait to get home.
After a few 1-1 sessions with Rob the difference was amazing, Harry is a completely different dog.
Obviously some of the problems laid with us as we’d become nervous due to his behaviour but with training and guidance we can now let him off lead with other dogs and even take him out to the beach or pubs with no worries!

We now attend the fortnightly pack walks just to keep his training and socialisation topped up. It’s also great fun and you meet lots of lovely people who have all been in the same boat as you.

Don’t ever think life will be a continuous nightmare when you have an uncontrollable dog, we cannot recommend K9 control enough.

My dog had his first training session with Rob yesterday. Rupert pulls so badly he has had myself and my husband over numerous times. He’s 47kgs. Did our first walk this morning doing everything Rob taught us and I can honestly say it was the best walk ever! He was perfect and he had lots of distractions! It was actually a pleasure walking him. We can’t thank Rob enough

I’ve had two lessons now with Rob and he is a miracle worker!

Rob explains clearly what he wants from owner and dog, inspiring confidence in both. After just one session my reactive dog was walking up and down in front of Rob’s rotweiler and ignoring him. Can’t recommend highly enough.

The progress Rob has made with our German Shepherd in four lessons is incredible.

We have tried quite a few different things to train our spaniel but these guys have made a huge difference in just a few sessions, the results get better each week and I’ve even had support from them between sessions when I struggled with him. Definitely recommend!

I'm so pleased I took the plunge to find a dog trainer and found Rob. We've only had one session, but already there are signs of improvement. I'm very hopeful for the future and look forward to our next session.

Rob was amazing how he introduced our dog to another. His instructions were clear and precise. We are putting things he told us into practice and they are working okay for us most of the time.
We will go back for more sessions with Rob as we are funding his advice beneficial.

We have had 4 sessions with rob now and 1 pack walk.
My doberman has gone from needing to br walked on a prong collar and reacting to other dogs and pulling me to walking on a collar and lead loosely by my side and the difference is phenomenal.

The pack walk was also so well run and a great morning!

Another 1:1 session with Rob on Tuesday. It was SO useful and I learnt a lot about how to manage my reactive dog and understand why he behaves as he does. Rob is extremely understanding, easy to talk to and very empathetic with the dogs. I would not hesitate to recommend K9 control to anyone having problems with their dog.

I attended my first session this week to address my dogs reactivity with people/dogs. I have been to other trainers and even vet behaviourist to address this and only seen small improvements. Within 20 minutes I was walking my dog in close proximity to Rob's dogs...nothing short of a miracle.
Today I did a training walk as suggested by Rob, with zero reaction from my boy. This afternoon attended my 'normal gun dog class which is in an environment full of dogs and dog walkers....and is usually a tough environment for my boy...he wasn't perfect but he far less reactive than in previously weeks.
We are very early on our journey with Rob but for the first time in 2.5 years I can see light at the end of the tunnel.
If you have only been seeking out help from positive reinforcement trainers and have not seen results, please try Rob...I am sure he will be able to give you results

We are very Happy with the help we are being given by Rob and his Team with our Springer Spaniel , They are going above and beyond to help us .

I attended my first pack walk on Sunday 21st July with my reactive Labrador. Although I was apprehensive as to how he would react to training and walking with so many other dogs of all shapes and sizes, it was a fantastic experience. The time was very well organised and, as well as being fun, it was a great learning experience for us both. Will definitely be attending more. Highly recommend

Rob and the team have changed our lives. Roxy was 18 months old when we got her around a year and a half ago and had both dog and people rectivity triggered by fear. I was at my wits end with her as walks were a nightmare, none of the training we had done previously made any real difference and I didn't want to leave the house with her for fear of running into another dog or her lunging at someone.
In under 2 months we have got to a point where we have a calmer, happier and more confident dog. She can be around other dogs without going ballistic, we can walk with other dogs, she is no longer people reactive and we now have the tools in our arsenal to deal with any reactivity she does still show.
Rob and the guys are all so supportive, as is the community they have developed, and we really appreciate everything they have done to help us and Roxy.
I can highly recommend K9 Control to anyone whose dog has behavioural issues. They tailor their training to suit each individual dog and provide all the support and guidance you need to bring out the best in your furry friend.

Highly recommend Rob and K9 control had an incredible experience with K9 Control Dog Training. The trainer was not only knowledgeable and experienced but also very patient and kind with not only us but my boys. The training methods were effective and tailored to suit each of my dog's needs perfectly, he even picked up on things our vet missed!
